I agree 100%. Films like Kung Fu Hustle and Night Watch shouldn't be in this section. They are international movies.

i saw this film a few weeks ago. i love SC as an director/actor
the film is so funny 10/10

I saw the movie. It was pretty good. Plot was strange though, but the spec effects are worth all the money.

Well if you've seen the other movies Steven Chow is in, you'd understand that most of his movies have pointless ideas in the plot... it only ment to entertain not make sense 😛

They are indeed, can't wait. Apparently they are going to start filming it in September and it will contain more action sequences than the first one.

I wish more of Chow's older releases would get put on DVD, not necessarily theatrical releases.

but i heard that an actress in it may not be returning... i think it was the love interest...

my brother found a Steven Chow box set at the markets. too bad he couldnt afford it 🙁

i might be wrong but if my memory is correct its a movie adaptation of some comic. again im not sure if im mixing up what i read, hopefully im right 😛

I liked Kung-Fu hustle it is a great movie but most of the ideas were taken from other old t.v shoes. One I remember Lions roar taken from The new Dragon Sabre and Heavenly sword. 2 toad style taken from Return of the condor heroes. That instrument of death thing was stolen from another movie but I forgot wich one it looked bad a-- though. That is all I can remember so if any of you guys can name anything that you found amazing from Kung-fu hustle I can probably name where Stephen Chow stole it from.

no point complain since it was made for pure entertainment purpose and nothing more. but if you want to make a list heres one, the Buddha palm was from Iron Monkey

I also remember seeing axe gang on Drunken master 2 or Legend of drunken master as it was released in america.

They did not get Budha palm from Iron Monkey. Iron Monkey actually had poison Budha palm. ZING.
