I believe the Fantastic Four vanquished a Celestial.
The entire Superman lineage, from Superman Pre-Crisis to Superman that live in the time-stream, to Supermen who are faster than a tachyon, to supermen who live in the 5th dimension, all the way to the Prime Superman. (And note that their power becomes greater with each successive generation, and not just power but intellect and what not. Plus new powers and senses).

If the F4 can do in one Celestial, what do you think the ENTIRE Superman lineage would do?
I'll go with the Celestial.
I have read often on carious threads, that Superman Prime is
the strongest Superman, and that his strength comes from
having been in the sun for 15,000 years.
Now, 15,000 years is a long time, but the Celestials have been
around for millions, probably hundreds of millions, if not over a
billion, years. So their powers and experience is unsurpassed
by anyone in Marvel Universe, except Galactus, and maybe
the Watchers.
So I doubt that the Supermen can defeat him. He'll just destroy
the whole solar system if need be.

Ummmm, I think that's it.
