Ever since that day, Sheri started to avoid Dave. Dave kept blocking her way to talk to her or just wait for her outside the classroom to talk to her but she dodged and avoided or circled around to not talk to him.

When Paul Spelt stepped up, no one yelled out for him. Men,, Dave felt sorry for him. Then suddenly out of nowhere someone yelled out ten!! Wait, he thought, I know that voice. And he saw Sheri with her hand up in the air. Does she like her??? All through his date with Jenny Parc Dave thought about what Sheri might be doing with Paul. The more he thought about them together, the angrier he got.

The next day at school, in the library, Dave pulled Sheri in behind a shelf.
Dave- Do you like Paul?
Sheri- Well, yeah, he's nice and....
Dave- I mean do you like, like him?
Sheri- No, not that way...
Dave just smiled and said then do you wanna go out sometime??
