spyware

My computer is full of spyware!!! 😠 I am trying to get rid of them with a program that I downloaded but still it only finds the spyware and it doesn't delete them! 😠 does anyone know a program that detects spyware and deletes them? help!!! 🙁

OMG! Im having the EXACT same problem. Spybot doesnt work, I downloaded it and it didnt delete the spyware.

Did you install it correctly? Do you know how to use it?

Also, get a pop-up blocker, pop-ups put spyware on your computer.

Yeah, I did install it properly and I know how to use it. It deleted some spyware but the worst and most annoying thing (I think its called SP-Hijacker or something) is still there. I cant even enter Hotmail without it popping up. cry

cool! it really worked! thanks the only thing that it didn't correct was the hotbar thingy and I think that's the worst one it sais it's in use I will restart my computer and try again.

Yes, I'm calling you a liar NYC Girl. You just said it deleted some spyware, but you can't get rid of just that one thing. You probably have to restart, or turn off something in msconfig.

OK, so Spybot not deleting every spyware file makes me a liar? ok thats just fine disgust. I tried changing it in msconfig but it wont let me, its called 'search assistant uninstall' and it wont go away. Spybot didnt delete it and neither did PestPatrol.

Darn storm beat me to it, but yes Microsoft AntiSpyware found things Adaware didn't on my system. It's the best anti-spyware program out there.

Spybot I've always had trouble with, it always froze up my computer. I use Ad-Aware, it works great. I've heard things about Microsoft Anti-Spyware being unstable and not catching things...

So far, I haven' t had any problems at all with Microsoft Anti-Spyware.
