I doublechecked cause I was doubting but it's indeed Lee that got a wink wink nodge nodge in TWINE

Wink wink nodge nodge 😛? I believe the word you're looking for is "nudge".

Do you mean Christopher Lee?

I'm too darn tired man 🙁

no, Bernard Lee 😖

Sorry - I'm pretty tired as well ...

Back on form now, though! Anyone care to post a funfact?

In early drafts of LALD Solitare was Haitian and Rosie Carver was caucasian.

Pssst! Why not put this in the "What Could Have Been" thread. It needs the attention 😛 !

But ... cool fact nevertheless 🙂

I'll post there in a jiffy 😱

Haitian? caucasian? 🤪

the color of their skin 😛

there's a color named caucasian? 😕

no, a caucasian means you're white... like you

haitian means you have the skincolor of someone from haitia: darker

The close-up shots of Sean Connery with the spider on him in Dr No were filmed with a glass plate under the spider.

That's true. It was clearly stipulated in his contract, in fact: "During the making of the film, the spider wishes to have no physical contact with Sean Connery" 😛

he's such a scardy cat! in one scene, with Largo and such, he had to swim next to a shark and he wanted a shielding from that too 🙄

When LALD was released in South Africa in 1973 Rosie Carver's character was cut out completely from the film...think apartheid!!! 😠

Oh, and that was a FACT but not FUN... 🙁

how could they cut her out??? it is possible but the movie makes less sense 😖

We're talkin' South Africa in the dark old days here...anything's possible! 🙁

but how did they explain the weird parts where she got cut out? 😖
