Sig Issues

I wasn't really sure where to put this but.....

It's 10:48 p.m. EST here, and for the last 30-60 minutes, I've done nothing but mess around with the picture I wanted to upload as my updated sig. For this amount of time, I've resized the sig enough several different ways so that it was both under the maximum of 500x200 pixels, and under 30KB, yet the Sig-Uploader still gives me either one of two messages:
-The one that tells you that the Sig image must be under or at 30KB,
-And the one that says that the Sig image must be under or at 500x200 pixels.
Now, I'm not trying to sound like an @$$hole, but what's taken me over half an hour to abandon should have taken me five minutes at most to do normally.
I just really need to know why the Forum won't allow me to Upload my updated sig....

keep it under the allowed measurements... its goes by the on-disk size...

ok, dude thats like 50kb... you need to shrink it or take out the text...

Well then what....is my computer f*cked up? 'Cause it comes up that it's under 30KB.....*Sigh*

EDIT: Now I'm pissed. 😠
NOW my computer says that they're 78.76KB......oh, thanks for your help pr198, but just forget it.....😉

take out the text, or make it similar colours to the background, blues and browns...

or try to lower the quality of your sig to make it fit 30 kb
