yes, in a matter of speaking its pretty difficult to argure that this is a false statement. whatever "being" is, if you are thinking then in some shape form etc. you "are".

but the questing is what is "are" . techinically just exsitence isn't limited to the living or ever the animated, rocks "exsist". and thinking is just the compounding of information like 2 and 2 into 4. And anybody who knows what entropy is now that system tend evolve to high levels of entropy ( choas and disorder ) . Meaning that this phrase is false , thinking is to low entropy to ordered so many thing exsist withoout it that the amount of counter examples is beyond infinite.

The statement is "I think, therefore I am," not "it does not think, therefore it is not." 🙄
