When he first appears, his whole outfit looks black with a deep forest/mossy green hue to it. Go watch it.

I think that's due to the mist/smoke and the white background. If the smoke is yellowish (of which I'm not to sure) and there's a white background then the black appears ....."forest green". 🙄
