Awsome joker picture Silverstien, I hope he looks something like that in the movie.

I don't like the carved look, I think its much freakier if his lips are paralyzed like a smile, that creates the mental picture that he's stuck that way for the rest of his life. If he carved it, that means he has a control over his destiny - something I don't like to associate with the Joker, he should be the 100% psychotic complete nutbag we love.

Now that you said it, I don't really like the idea that he has control over his own destiny either. I just liked the idea that if he carved it, the movie would be darker and more grusome.

dark pretty much describes the new batman begins series...

-i think the carved look is really freaky
-the paraylized "stuck" smiling is...not my favourite
-but what about the normal face...like the 90s cartoon (mark hammill voiced) Joker...he had a free form face?

Hamill had the voice to make up for it though. Nobody's gonna be able to top that perfect voice.

That looks quite good... although many actors could reasonably look like The Joker its just finding one that can be him.
