Okay, I'm going to see If we can get this back on track, but please, with all due respect, no more one sentence responses.

Orion froze, nose slightly raised, eyes glaring out over the dimly lit streets, ignoring the few pedestrians quickly making their way to various locations. He had been following Yuri's scent ever since he had discovered she had vanished, but now he had suddenly lost her trail.

Puffing heavily, his new human slave jogged up next to him, bending over, hands on knees, tying to suck in deep breaths. "Slow...please...slow down." He coughed, regaining his composure some what as he stood erect. "My lord, that is. Please, I dont have your endurace."

"No one said you had to follow me, Tony Campbell. Look, it is simple. If I call, you come, if I don't, well, you can do what ever the hell you like. Easy, no?"

"Whatever," Tony replied, gaining some nerve finally, getting almost testy with the vampire. "Now, have you found her, or must I run around all night?"

Orion arched a brow.

"My lord," Tony added quickly.

Orion turned his attention back to the streets just as multiple loud explosions ripped the still night air.

"Well," he replied, slowly, suddenly worried for Yuri's safety despite the fact he knew it was ridiculously hard to kill the woman, "If I didn't know where she was before, I certainly do now."

He began to pace off in the direction the explosions had sounded from, but puased midstep, head darting to a shadowed alley to his left. Extending his fangs, he went into a quick crouch, finally realising what had distracted him from Yuri's scent.

Instinctively, Tony crouched down behind Orion, gazing over the vampires shoulder into the darkness beyond. "What do you sense?" His shaking voice whispered into Orion's ear.

"Vampires. Lots of them. But...well, thats impossible. There aren't that many of us around."

"Christ, more of you, my lord?"

Orion smirked. "Perhaps. I can't be sure. It may not be my kind I am sensing at all. My perception seems a little...fuzzy. Almost like something is trying to stop me from sensing it...or making it seem that way so as to entice me to enter its domain."

"Like a trap, my lord?"

"No, not 'like' a trap. It damn sure s a trap. You can bet your blood on it. Which is exactly why we are walking into it."

"We?" Tony squeaked more than bellowed as he shot to his feet. "Oh no, if you think I am going down a dark alley with you, into some trap that may or may not involve more vampires, then, oh no, no, no, you are dead wrong."

"Then crane your neck, Mr. Campbell, for I am getting hungry."

Tony swallowed hard, eyes darting to the alley. "Bloody hell, all right! But I'm not leading the way."

Orion grinned. "Believe it or not, Tony, I'm not that mean." Patting the man on his shoulder, Orion set off down the alley, jogging down dank stairs he thought should not have been there, and continueing on down an equally dank hall until he came to an ebony door.

"Ebony," Orion mused. "How ironic."

"It means something to you?"

Orion traced the pattern carved in the door. An exact match to that on his armour. "Most of life, centuries ago, involved this. Not to mention a more recent period that I prefer to try and forget."

With a snarl at the thought of the rape, Orion booted the the door off its hinges, stalking into the hazy, dimly lit chamber beyond.

Tony, following behind, gasped and cligned to Orion's back at the site of some twenty vampires within the room. It seemed like some hazy underground club, with vampires lounging on chairs here and there, involved in various illegal and sexual activities.

In one corner of the room, two male vampire were having there way with a naked and desperately unwilling woman, she trying her hardest to escape their grasp, effort in vain.

"What is this place?"

"It is known as a "Den'. In short, a place where vampires come to get high."

Tony frowned at Orion, before glancing around the room. "Those syringes...you get off on Heroin?"

Orion chuckled throatily. "Hardly. No, that woman you were staring at," Orion pointed to the corner with the two vampires and the struggling woman. "Watch."

And he did. He watched as one vampire collected a syringe from a small table nearby, injecting its contents into the woman.

"That dose of Heroin was massive," Orion informed him. "Now keep watching."

The woman quickly began to convulse in the other vampire's lap, foam beginning to ooze from the corner of her mouth. The vampire holding her suddenly opened his mouth, fangs extending, driving them into her skull, eyes rolling into the back of his head as he sucked something out of her brain.

"I don't understand?"

"Endorphines," Orion replied. "It is endorphines, produced in the brain, that gives a human the feeling of being high. You humans cannot farm it, for it would surely be the only drug available if you could. but we vampires, caring naught that the victim dies, can just suck it right out of your skulls. Given the nature of our bodies, the way our food enters directly into out blood stream, it takes little time for the endorphines to travel through our body to our own brain, giving the desired effect. It is the only drug capable of getting a vampire high, and is extremely addictive."

"I see...I think. Maybe."

"You humans rarely understand such things, so I am not surprised. However, do not be fooled by what you see here. This is all illusion. Now, the trick is discovering who is behind it. But then, I already know that."

"You do?"

A clapping sound could be heard suddenly, the vampire 'Den' setting disappearing, revealing a neatly furnished living room. Upon a black leather sofa, sat an old asian looking man, long grey fu-manchu beard almost making Tony laugh out loud.

"Ahhhh, moooost amuuusing," the old geezer cackled, springing up off the couch and shoving his face right into Tony's. "You fiiiind me suuuuch, hmmmmm?"

Tony suddenly had the feeling he had been thrust into one of those crazy japanese animations.

"Leave him, old man," Orion said with a chuckle, "And tell me why you return after so long."

The old man jumped around. "Alriiiighty, alriiight. Cooome, cooooome. Weeee, must eeeeat. Coooome."

Orion shook his head as the old man disappered into another room, motioning for Tony to lead the way.

With a lengthy, hesitant look at Orion, Tony shrugged, and followed after the old man, preparing himself for a long, long night.

((OOC: I am pretty sure Endorphines is the substance I am on about, but I could be wrong, will have to check...anyway, not that it is the end of the world, either way, they are taking a natural drug of sorts.))

Raven-grey hair draping down her cheeks, she didn’t bother to peel back clinging strands from her face, steaming shower pounding on her scalp. Hazel gaze glued to the pearly porcelain underfoot, she vaguely caught sparkling shards of glass slide down her form, hints of pink staining the water swirling down the drain.

His face…that face…why? She released a clenched fist, nails leaving their mark in her palm. Letting her gaze wander from the floor to the showerhead, she let her face be pelted, bemused and forlorn. But most importantly, most of all…angry. “Sage…” Her eyes watered hearing the name out loud, mouth still stained with the copycat’s blood. Wiping a fang clean, she drowned out the copper flavor, voice springing up in her head.

Your lover, right? Take it he’s a minion for Kis-

That was NOT him! Cut off Yuri venomously. Sighing, she spread her hands out along the tiled wall. That will never be him…he is dead…it is a soulless imitation. Nothing more.

…hmm. Then what is the baddie doing with his…erm…doppelganger in his disposal? Better yet, how the f**k does he even know about him?

That f**king mouth… Rolling her eyes, she continued. But on a serious note, why else would he be used? To piss me off, of course. And the latter is, again, a complicated matter.

Yeah, I’m beginning to notice everything involving this weirdo is ‘complicated’. How ‘complicated’ can it bloody well be?!?

Yuri furrowed her brows, tuning out the noise around her, the torrent of water cleansing her skin. Forehead to the wall, she gulped. They are….connected. It is why I could not kill him.

Don’t tell me! Simone got into one of her dramatic moods. Another brother? Sister, mother? Oh wait, his fath-

I said ‘connected’ NOT related. For all your intelligence, you CAN be an idiot.

Hey, screw you too. Then what’s the story?

Squinting from the suddenly stinging droplets of water, she exhaled heavily, tilting her head. A life for a life…sort of, Deciding not to be cryptic with the confused teen, she clarified. At one point and time…I had been under Kisei’s control-

How did you escape? Were you…the one? The only one who could resist his control? Her questions were laced heavily in sarcasm.

STOP…INTERRUPTING!! Fixing her tone, Yuri continued curtly. And I escaped his control simply because…I was the only that did NOT resist him.

What?

Long story. Point is, it came down to a time where I…we-

We? Uh…sorry.

Grinding her teeth at the youth’s interjection yet again, she forced away a chastising remark. Where we, as in Sage and I, had almost defeated him. I could not accomplish the feat on my own. However, before the death blow could be dealt…Kisei resorted to treachery. He poisoned my fiancé, leaving me with two choices. My options were I slaughter Kisei, in turn, not receiving the cure for Sage. Or…I let him live, in exchange for it. Obviously, I chose the latter. The cure being…his blood.

Ew… Simone’s tone read nothing but disgust.

Yuri smirked. It was combined with motley of herbs but it was not too horrible. You do have to remember, he WAS of vampiric nature. The only reason why I did not kill that vile excuse for a creature is… She contemplated how to explain it. …His blood is…apart of him. Outside his vessel, it still survives, only dying when he does. While his blood…canceled out the poison, kept it at bay, once Kisei died, it would have become inactive, the poison killing Sage instantly. He did not quite like that I bonded him with the devil but I had no choice. And now, centuries later…a marionette walks in his body, controlled by that bastard. In a fit of livid melancholy, she sent her fist into the wall, spirals cracking the off-white tiles.

There was a pause after the end of Yuri’s tale, the teen mulling over the proper words to use, to say. In a strangely sympathetic tone, she finally said. I…hmm…you may be an at times coldhearted bodysnatching b*tch…but…I’m sorry. It’s cruel to make you fight your ex-lover. Probably hurts too…

Yuri snorted, rolling her unusually dull hazel eyes. Spare me. Tossing her hair over her shoulder, she turned off the shower, stepping out onto the midnight black rug. She stood completely emotionless, hands automatically cloaking her glistening body with a white towel. Yuri shrugged. You said it yourself, ‘cold hearted b*tch’ right? I have no heart to hurt.

Determined to make it through the ordeal, she wiped away the fog steaming the mirror. Staring at her reflection, she almost jumped out her skin from the image looking back. Her shock was immediately replaced with bewilderment, a palm going over her mouth. “I…how?!”

“Shhh…” The image, the emerald eyed man, the aristocratic puppet; smiled. Finger away from his lips, he waved out his hand to the bemused woman, seemingly taking something away. She gasped, clutching her heart, a ringing in her head. Stumbling back, she struggled to find her breath. The sensations that left her but hours ago came back full force, face warm, body flushed in fever. A nerve twitched at the corner of her eye, breath short.

Raising her eyes from the floor, she found herself absorbed by the male, dazed. He gave her a mesmerizing grin. “Lose yourself, gorgeous,” The stranger blew a feathery kiss in her direction, finally winking devilishly in his amusement. “Have fun.” He softly laughed, both malevolent and intoxicating at once.

Lengthening her nails, with a growl, she slashed across the tempered glass. A loud screeching echoed out in the small bathroom, the mirror empty and only holding her mark. Glaring into her glowing eyes, Yuri grimaced, knowing the damage had been done. Already, she felt her fangs growing, senses sensitive to the faintest scent, the lightest sound. Her throat severely parched, she swallowed hard, throwing a nervous glance to the door. “I gotta…I gotta get the f**k outta here…”

Yuri tightened the towel around her, sprinting out the bathroom and into the coolness of the hall. Glancing about the area, she moved past the quaint living room and to the Master bedroom, figuring she’d have to ‘borrow’ a shirt from Orion. Body feverish, she let her towel drop to the floor as she ransacked his bureaus for something to wear. Her eyes wandered to the mesh top she’d stolen earlier, the weather outside making her scorn the idea. She eventually settled with her bra and leather pants from earlier, completing the look with a black hoodie.

Yo… The youth spoke up, her voice peculiarly distant. Why the sudden rush…?

“Got to get away…” mumbled Yuri absentmindedly. Already out the bedroom, she jetted into the living room, snatching her wallet from a wooden table. She shoved it in a pocket, flipping off the lights before making her exit out into the cool snow-less night. Zipping down her sweater, she let the winter chill bathe over her skin, heartbeat starting to calm. The scent… Sensing her host’s puzzlement, Yuri elaborated. His scent…Orion’s…I could not take it, was driving me… She exhaled heavily, pocketing her hands. Was losing it…still losing it… She let her footsteps lead her from the sand covered in crystal ice to the pale cement sidewalk. Tilting her head, her eyes gained a lost hue. I won’t…I can not control myself. Had to go…needed to get away.

Huh… Seemingly deep in thought, Simone brought up an idea. Considering your state, why don’t you just use a d-

Keep in mind this is still after all YOUR body, interrupted Yuri hotly. A smile of annoyance crossed her lips, she putting her hood on. Yes, I happen to know what you were going to say, shared thoughts and all. I will not resort to that.

“Then why not just go to him…make your life easier?” whispered an angelic voice into the vampiress’s ear. The little fairy giggled, sinuously avoiding Yuri’s hand lashing out. Offering a smile to the bemused vampire, she placed a dainty milk white hand over her mouth. “You know it is only the truth I speak. Why not succumb to your desires…your little wistful fantasies?” She fluttered after the promenading Yuri, a presence of light in the dark night.

A low hiss escaped Yuri, body beginning to go aflame in the small woman’s presence. Closing her sweater, she kept her gaze forward. “Because it would not be of my will,” She threw an evil golden eye on the woman. “And I highly doubt such a spell was cast on me for no reason. I will not be some toy…a little puppet of amusement. Tell that to your master…” Yuri snarled, baring her fangs venomously.

To Yuri’s surprise, the fairy burst into a round of giggles. Making sure to keep out the reach of the vampiress’s claws, she concealed her pointy teeth behind a black and red fan. “My master does not even know I am here…” She took on a sultry tone, waving her eyelashes. “It is easy to cut some strings…but I am proud how you figured out it was a spell,” She snapped the fan shut, clapping rapidly after the vampiress. “Bravo! It’ll last a good twelve to twenty four hours, give or take a minute. You’ll just burn and hunger…” Taking a chance, she floated next to Yuri’s ear, whispering devilishly. “And lust…and crave…you’ll yearn for a bite, a taste, your fangs through his flesh, his blood on your lips; hands caressing your body…” She trailed off, her eyes an ethereal grey. “You know of what I’m taking about…even now…his scent can’t escape you, try as you might to be rid of it…and you know you can only take it for so long…”

Now it was Yuri’s turn to laugh. Chortling heartily to the sky, her eyes watered to the point of tears. She glanced to the curious fairy, grinning toothily at her mystification. “Pssh…you make me sound obsessed with the man. And the way you ended that sentence,” Yuri pointed a finger to the fairy. “The way you make it sound is if I don’t f**k him, I’m going to die a horrible fiery death. Sadly, you are dealing with a vampiress who knows her spells. It will possibly last for twenty four hours and my desires are not solely based on person. Rather, any person I am close with. Contact with other beings is a no no, body is rather sensitive to touch. I could go on but…”

The fairy waved off the end of her sentence, disappointed the vampiress knew the rules. “Yah yah, I know my shit, no need to go into it. Not like I have all night but…” She ran her fingers through her hair, cold grey eyes on the sky. “…I could always twist the fates in your direction. Make it so you do not seem a lust crazy woman-”

“But then you’d have two vampires after you,” stated Yuri. She narrowed her eyes to the woman. A spiteful smile came, along with an arch of her brow. “I am sure your master would not want that. Do you not agree?”

The fairy returned the smile, an evil glow to her eyes. She soon dropped the phoniness, crossing her arms. “Have it your way. You’ll break sooner or later. All I wanted was for you to be content…to be happy…to be pleased. All I want-”

“Greed?” inquired Yuri. She stopped in her stride, a wave of dizziness striking her. Yuri gulped, the woman looking her over nervously. Confident, the vampiress nodded. “It was the ‘want’ part that made me ask. You are ‘greed’ no?”

The woman chuckled one final time, giggle coming out forced. She licked her lips, cracking her knuckles. “In due time, you will know, my dear. Until then…that voice in your head will stay quiet for the duration of the spell. Can’t risk that little brat talking sense into you…heh,” She blew a kiss in Yuri’s direction, striking a sexy pose. “Miss me!” She winked and in a puff of purplish black smoke vanished into the night.

Vision beginning to blur, Yuri took a massive breath, continuing on into the night. Crossing the empty streets, she turned down the crosswalk, orange streetlight flickering steadily. Dizziness replaced for a constant heat, she walked aimlessly, contemplating the fairy’s last words. No more Simone…hmm… Scoffing at the evening’s events, she lowered her head. “Well, f**k me…”

In the shadows of the alleyway, a switchblade could be heard revealed to the ether. A behemoth of a gentleman stepped from behind a corner, leering down to Yuri’s form. “That an offer?” He made a kissing sound in her direction, huge booted feet slapping against the concrete as he charged towards her.

Head still lowered, a broad fang revealing smile methodically crept over Yuri’s lips as the man approached her, golden eyes aglow in excitement, nails already elongating in her pockets…

(ooc: wowies…don’t know where half of this came from, lol, but it’s something *cheers* )

(((OOC: lol, something...two posts is a little more than something babe...anywho, lets see if I can work out where I am heading with this eh?))

They were seated at a large oak dining table, Orion and Tony next to each other, the strange old mans seat sitting empty directly opposite, the man himself prattling away as he cooked their dinner.

Leaning close to Orion and covering his mouth with a hand so as to not project his voice in the old mans direction, Tony asked quietly," So, who is this weird old friend of yours anyway?"

"Friend? Hardly. He was...still is, I suppose, one of my enemies. He's...well, I still have no idea exactly what the man is. A creature of magic for sure. Either way, we nearly killed each other many times before the great war diverted our attention from one another."

"Iiiiit iiiis quiiite ruuuude to taaaalk aboooout oooonee behiiiind theiiir baaaack."

"Will you stop talking like that old man!" Orion snapped, finally losing patience with the annoying voice.

The old man smiled, wrinkled face resembling a prune. "Just trying to get under your skin early, my young nemesis." Placing a steaming curry meal in front of the two, the old man winked directly as Tony. "Have no fear young human, it is merely poisoned." With a mad cackle, the old man skipped to his seat, hoeing into his food like a starving wolf.

"Enough with the foolery already," Orion sighed as he scooped some of the curry into his mouth, knowing such food would do nothing for him. "Why are you here, now, after all this time?"

"Not for the reason you might expect," the old man replied, suddenly serious.

"You expect me to believe you aren't here to kill me? What was with the Den then?"

"I'm not here to kill you...not yet, in any case. No, no, no. I am, indeed, here to kill the one you love. The one you would, if given the chance, like to spend an eternity with."

"What the hell are you on about," Orion demanded testily. "There is no one. Maybe I could have felt that way when I was half human, but now that I am once aga-"

"Now that you are a full blood once more? It means nothing. The human feelings are still there and strong. Believe me, I can feel the swirling through your being. And you do love the female Yuri, Orion, do not deny it. I am here to kill her."

"I'll kill you before you get within ten feet of her," Orion growled, standing up and knoking his chair over in the process.

The old man chuckled. "You see! So defensive of her."

With a hiss, Orion lunged over the table, grabbing the old man by the throat, instantly regretting the action as searing pain shot through his arms. A second later he was flying through the air back over the table, slamming into Tony who tried in vain to dodge out of the way, the two landing in a sprawled heap.

"One day you will learn you cannot lay your hands upon me," the old man, eyes gleaming, remarked haughtily. "And now, if you will excuse me, I have a b*tch of a vampire to kill." A loud bang echoed through the room, a cloud of smoke veiling the old man, which, when it dissipated, revealed only thin air.

"No!" Orion bellowed, thrashing wildly at the empty air where the old man had stood. "You will not touch her!" FAngs and claws fully extended, he spun on his heels and sprinted from the room in the direction of Yuri's scent.

Tony, scrambled to his feet as he watched the deranged Orion leave the room, a strangely knowing feeling washing over him. "Wait!" he called after the vampire, but Orion was gone. Tony sighed. "Its a trap, you fool," he spoke into the empty air, somehow knowing that the old man wasn't going after Yuri at all, merely playing with Orions emotions to weaken him. How he knew it, Tony couldn't guess, but he did know one thing. It would be up to him to save Orion, and strangely, despite the fact the Vampire had forced him to be his slave, Tony actually wanted to save him.

"What the hell am I getting myself into?" With a shake of his head and a deep breath, Tony sprinted after his master.

((OOC: Gods, I cant believe how hard it is to get things out after a long day in the sh!t hole that is work. Meh, didn't come out at all how I wanted it to, not that I really knew where I was going to take it. *Shrugs* ah wells, it'll have to do.))

Standing patiently as the giant of a man neared her, she waited until he began to swipe before lithely dodging the blade. She turned aside, stepping out of the reach of a sloppy stab to her shoulder. Clearly disappointed at the lack of challenge, she frowned, revealing her eyes to the gentleman. A faint glow emanated from her irises, expression hidden in the shadows of her hood. “No skill…a waste of life…” she growled, evading a slash directed to her throat.

“A waste of life…” The man spat out her words wide eyed, face twisted in distaste. He increased his fervor, anxious to weaken the vampiress, make her submit to him.

“Parrot too? How quaint…” murmured Yuri, in a rancorous mood. She clenched her fists, the fire inside her growing, the man’s features spiraling before her. She released a low hiss, nervous at her growing weakness. Feigning a calm composure, she twirled from an attempted grab, bracing herself with the help of a dewy wall. Her palm pressed to the damp brick, nails dangerously sharp, she calculated how she’d slit his throat, unwilling to risk physical contact.

He dove at her manically, knife shining under the light of the streetlamp. A low breath escaped Yuri and in a move of agility, she moved right, preparing to end the assailant’s life. However, something occurred that she’d had no way of foreseeing, nothing she’d ever thought would be her downfall. Her nose picked up a scent. A comforting scent…a familiar scent…the scent that had been tempting her, tormenting her for hours; slowly biting at her sanity. She halted her attack, eyes fixed on the streets. Orion! He’s…he’s close. Too close, I- All thoughts were cut off, Yuri widening her eyes at the chilled metal piercing her skin.

“Crazy b*tch,” The goon laughed watching Yuri double over, his knife still buried in her flesh. He guffawed loudly to the sky when she clutched her stomach, speaking haughtily down to the vampiress. “Who’s the waste of life now? All I wanted was a quick screw…worse ya had to worry about was a scratch around your neck. But you made it so I’ll get to…” The man suddenly drifted off, eyes on the verge of popping out his skull. He gasped; hold loosening over the knife, a small trail of crimson and saliva creeping down his jaw line.

Yuri licked her lips, a sick smile splitting her face. Her nails now drilling into the man’s shirt, into his skin, she elongated them, several somethings shattering inside his body. He hacked out a ball of blood and spittle, his hand falling limp around the hilt of the shiv stuck inside her shoulder. Yuri raised her head, eyes glowing marvelously in her exhilaration. “Crazy b*tch? You have no idea…” She twisted her nails, eliciting a gasp of pain from the man.

Pushing him back into the adjacent wall, she abruptly pulled free her hand with a smirk. The man, in a rage, took ahold of her bloody hand, swinging her hard into the wall. He put his hand on her back to keep her still, Yuri shivering in astonishment, the flame consuming her being. She gasped, struggling for control, a semblance of sense returning from a whiff of Orion’s scent, he nearing her position.

With a cry of desperation, she pivoted on her heel, swiping her nails over the man’s chest. Kicking him to the ground, she stood over him, golden eyes dissecting the cursing assailant. In a rare move, she allowed her fangs to show, nails growing out in his presence. He forced back a cough, jaw growing slack in disbelief. “Holy shit…”

“Come on,” An expression of loathing came, Yuri’s tone tainted in poison. Reducing her nails to a normal length, she pulled back her leg innocently. “…scream for me.” She conjured up all the pent up energy inside of her, burning a mere fraction of it out with a swift kick to the man’s crouch. A deafening roar escaped the mugger; Yuri’s content fading at a realization. She cursed herself severely, fleeing down the alleyway hurriedly.

Drawing unnecessary attention to myself. I should have cut his throat and let him be. Sliding her hand up her arm, she tugged the claret covered stiletto from her arm, wincing at the pain associated with the move. She rounded a corner, stealthily using the back entrance to enter a neon blue club. Licking the blood free from the knife, she shoved past drunken partying clubbers, the fast paced techno tempo going unnaturally well with her erratic heartbeat.

Yuri charged out the exit of the club, reaching neon lit streets, countless clubs in her view. Blinded by the sight, she felt the inferno inside her reach its peak, legs beginning to shake beneath her weight. Her breath heavy, she unzipped her sweater, forcing herself to concentrate. I will…I can not… She dragged her feet from the flashy lights of the downtown district, away from the fluorescent luminescence of stores, taking a breather by the side of a condemned apartment building. Her vision blurred briefly before taking on a sharper hue, the environment around her brightened, in contrast with the time of night. “Wha…?” She stumbled backwards, her strength back in full, an adrenaline rush methodically coursing through her body.

Fangs out to the world, she cautiously tiptoed deeper into the alley, ears picking up a sound behind her, the lightest of breaths. Her fingers wrapped tight around the stolen knife, Yuri lashing out to the figure behind her. She stopped the blade inches from none other than Orion’s neck, a heavy sigh escaping her. He started to speak, Yuri starting first. “Stay back…” Adjusting the knife in her hand, she directed it to his chest. “Go…leave me be. I won’t forgive myself if I…” She let her words hang in the air, closing her eyes. Controlling herself as best as she could, she shook off her hood, heat threatening to consume her body. She lowered the knife from his chest, weakening gaze on Orion. “…just go.”

Orion took a step toward her, Yuri’s discomfort escalating significantly. Without thought, she lashed out to him. Her nails managed to scratch his shirt, Yuri regretting the move at the lovely new scent wafting in the air, the mouth-watering aroma of blood in the air. She cursed herself, lightly nibbling on the nails from the offending hand. Shivering at the small taste of the warm liquid, she whispered beneath her breath. “I’m sorry…I did not mean to do that,” She approached him, trailing her fingers over the wounds. Losing hold over her emotions, she kissed lightly to his bleeding chest, closing her eyes as she wrapped her arms around him.

He gently put distance between them, tilting her chin up to look her over. Catching sight of her arm, he slid a portion of her sweater off. Yuri stood in a complete daze, a rhapsodic shiver running down her spine. Her hand snapped up to grab his wrist, Yuri speaking beneath her breath. “…I’ll let you have me,” Noticing the change in his expression, she shortened the distance between them, breathing on his lips. “…I’ll let you take me, I’ll be yours for the night. Forever if you wish…” Golden eyes lustrous, she ran her hand beneath his shirt, whispering into his ear, her last bit of sense intact. “…or you can go…leave me…please…”

(OOC: Had no idea this is what I'd come up with...dun duun duuuuunnnnn! I’m almost tempted to compare the endin of this to soft core por-, uh, hmm, well maybe not. Where was my mind at, lol? Ah wells, hopefully it’ll do *shruggie* Your move, decomp…)

"Leave me...please..."

Orion's jaw worked as a confusing mix of emotions spiraled through his being. Yuri's words troubled him, her emotions directed at him worried him more. And yet, still in his rage at the old man, he could not help but be enticed by her offer. She had just offered him everything he had wanted for some time...Her.

In the end, that was all he wanted...her, and nothing more.

All thoughts of the old man and whatever scheme he was hatching vanished from Orion's mind as he ran the back of his fingers along her cheek. "You tempt me with everything I have wanted for some time...yet, at the same time, you show to me that you want nothing to do with me."

He offered her a lopsided smile, leaning in and peppering her neck with soft kisses. "All you...must do," he began between kisses, "is tell me...with conviction...to leave..." extending his fangs slightly, he bit shallowly into her neck, peircing her skin just enough to draw a small trickle of blood with which to whet his pallet, "...and I shall leave you be...forever more. The choice, Yuri, is yours."

((OOC: Sorry it is so short, but I am buggered... lol, at least it's more than a one sentence response))

"welcome back sir" said a man at the gate of lyethis' mansion, in a very English voice, he was dressed in a ridicules suit, he looked like a solider to the queens palace.

lyethis sniffed the air with distaste not answering the man, "someone has been here, the runes are mixed up, not all is right. and i smell... i smell vampires." An angry look crossed his face and he stared at the gate keeper witheringly. "And you weren't aware of this." He spoke slowly, making his words burn into the man's mind, each one with some kind of hidden power. His eyes seemed to bare into the mans soul for an eternity, and with magic he saw what the man was thinking, the fear was overwhelming, this man had seen what the count could do.

"You fell asleep" said the count calmly, but he was secretly seething, "and then let a vampire destroy some of the strongest magic protecting this mansion, and to top it off, Khimaria will know of my defences and quite possible how to infiltrate them."

"I'm sorry master." Blubbered the gate warden. "It wont happen again, i swear... I... I, Please don't kill me."

"you have failed me, but don't worry, you wont die, there are far worse fates then that, you fell asleep, so i see it fitting that you need never sleep again, that sounds reasonable."

"y y y yes master, merciful one, that is most fitting, I thank you."

"Then you truly are a fool, this curse will leave you in agony, after a week you will be lucky to be sane." lyethis muttered under his breath. "but i would be pointless to let you go insane, it would be a waste of you life."

The man broke down crying, Happy to be alive, lythis muttered under his breath, and the man suddenly started writhing, his skull bulged and horns sprouted out, his skin turned un natraly pale, and his eyes turned black and sunken like coal, his once scrawnly muscles became huge and bulky, and his nose turned to slits, his hair turned white and fell off, and his hands widened, his nails turned to claws. he fell to the floar unconsious, leythis walked past him into the mansion, "i hope he wont screw up again" he laughed meanly.

***

Khimaria's dreams were plagued with nightmares, she was walking across a desert, the sun beat down hon her, and slowly her skin turned red, then deep brown, then finaly it started to fall off, just to be replaced so she cound replay the agony, she slept for three days, and when she woke up she was half dead from thirst, her skin was covered with claw marks from where she had clawed at her skin in her fevered sleap. She had had an uncomfertable experiance reminding herself how easy it would be to push Laura's weak body to far.

(ooc: Velcome back, seriph. And on another note, sorry if this is crap but schoolwork is kickin my ass w/ a vengeance, lol. Really wanted this to be better but ah wells…)

Yuri gasped, the feeling of Orion’s fangs grazing over her neck hardly helping her situation. She closed her eyes, feeling the fire within her begin to engulf her being, lightning course down her spine as the world began to spin. Enjoying herself far more than she should, in the back of her mind she cursed herself. She hated the idea of the mysterious/demonic fairy being right, of the fairy’s words holding influence over her actions. Nonetheless, Yuri lengthened her fangs, preparing to sink her teeth into Orion, to taste the vampire she so desperately craved.

Breathing on his neck, Yuri started to bite, interrupted by a blaring car horn from her left. Somehow able to find the will, she glanced away from Orion and into the street, exhaling testily at a steady stream of white light aimed towards the two. She raised her arm to veil the light from her eyes, thinking better of it so the driver of the black Mercedes could see her infuriation. A mumbled sorry could be heard, the driver killing the high beams. Sticking his head out the window, he shouted to Orion. “My lord, I...sorry to interrupt but…”

With a sigh, Yuri tuned out the rest of the man’s words, the previous scene playing through her mind. She unconsciously decreased the length of her nails, fluttering her eyelids as she thought. The fury in her eyes died down, no emotion visible, she processing Orion’s words. The choice, Yuri, is yours… Yuri quirked a brow, mumbling to herself. “…is it?” She turned to Orion, startled at the curious sapphire eyes placed on her. Opening her mouth, she tried to speak, unable to find the right thing to say. She cocked her head, finally turning a glossy hazel to the ground. “Let’s go…let’s just go back to your little haven. I…”

A second breath escaped her, Yuri repressing a sudden shiver. Gulping, she dragged her feet away from Orion, ducking into the backseat of the sleek Mercedes. In an attempt to burn off her rush, she slammed the car door shut, vehicle shaking from the force of her pull.

Hiking her knees up to her chest, Yuri wrapped her arms around her legs. She rested her cheek against her knees, staring away from Orion and out the glassless window of the car. She ignored Orion’s conversation with the driver, letting the wind tussle her hair about as the man started up the car. The chill night air provided a small comfort to her feverish body, Yuri bewildered by the evening, betrayed at her lack of self control.

Thirty minutes into the drive, Yuri took a chance, risking a peek to Orion. He caught her eye, offering a small smile to the perplexed Yuri. He reached out to her, Yuri shying away from his touch. She looked him over cautiously, slowly returning her attention to the view out the window. She could no longer find the will to look him in the eye, not yet.

Rolling past the turbulent waves of the deep blue ocean, the smell of saltwater hanging in the air, Yuri found the temporary calm that had entered her interrupted by the car’s abrupt stop. She raised her head from off her knees. “…we are back.” She glided her hand along the side of the door, gracefully exiting the car. Fighting a wave of vertigo, she strolled up the wooden stairs of the plain home away from home, letting herself in through the front door.

Casually flicking the lights on throughout the home, she paid no attention to the other inhabitants of the domicile, locking herself in the bathroom. Yuri turned on the lights, grimacing once catching sight of herself in the mirror…and noticing the condition of the mirror itself. Wincing at the deeply scratched glass, she analyzed her image, the wound in her arm, the thin trail of blood falling down her neck. She shook off her hoodie, taking off her bra and pants to better examine her flushed body.

I do not…I don’t understand. In a fit of rage, she sent her fist towards the mirror, pounding lightly on the bruised glass. Breathing heavily, she jumped into the shower, twisting the cold water knob in a full revolution. Yuri closed her eyes, letting the water cascade over her body once more, a blitz of coherent thoughts running through her mind. The Fang wants me to turn Orion onto the idea of being with the Porcelain Child… Spinning on her heel, she let the water pour over her already healing shoulder wound. …and if I don’t the consequences will be insufferable. For reasons I have yet to comprehend Lust AND Greed want- no, need me to lose the innocence of my host. To be their little puppet on a string? For entertainment value? To show they can control me…?

Perturbed by her mind’s questions, Yuri turned off the shower, stepping out onto the rug. Bringing the sole remaining towel around her form, she tilted her head, letting her hair drip water onto the floor. With one hand, Yuri held her towel in place, eyes fixated on her soaking wet figure. Her eyes glowed brilliantly, a new matter coming to light. The question remains…what do I want? Why care so deeply on others when the issue concerns me…? What do I really want…?

Captivated by her reflection, by her eyes, the answer came to her minutes into gazing. She closed her eyes with a nod, the heat from the curse cast upon her seeming to vanish. Moving to the door, she swiftly pulled it open, startled by a just as surprised Orion. He had been prepared to knock, now looking politely away from her barely dressed person. “No…” She pulled him gently into the bathroom. Sliding a hand to his cheek, directing his gaze towards her, a devious glint returned to her eyes. “…don’t turn away. I want…I want you to see me…”

Yuri circled him, casually making her way to the door. Nudging the door closed with her heel, she spoke quietly. “…I never answered you…back in the alley before your friend intervened…” She walked up to him, finding the nerve to look him in the eye. Heart jumping at the words that would escape her lips, she stroked his cheek tenderly, whispering. “The choice is mine…well…I want you. I want to be yours…I want you to take me…I want you inside me…” She brought her lips to his neck, planting kiss after kiss on his throat. She paused over a vein, breathing lightly on his neck. “Being with you…anyway I can is all that really matters…” Fangs out, Yuri avidly sunk her teeth into his neck, his blood bringing a jolt of electricity into her body. She closed her eyes at her oncoming ecstasy, taking her fangs from his throat after a minute.

Yuri peered into Orion’s eyes, the delicious scent of the warm crimson liquid decorating her lips wafting through the ether. Angling her face, she caught his lips, kissing him softly, a gentle tease to his lips. Towel dropping to the floor, she played her hands through his hair, kissing him with an unholy passion, an unadulterated bliss running through her from the hands prowling her body…

(ooc: *wonders what I’m still doing up* Oh, yah, sorry for the change of settin but on another note, what an ending…lol, I woulda went farther than that but not fair to control your char’s actions completely plus risk of bein banned, etc, yaddi yadda. ooc: sorry for the crapness of last post, this post is likely to be similar, I'm tired and haven't written anything good in a few months

ic:

a few hours after Khimaria regained consciousness, Laura joined her, a light tug at the back of Khimaria's head. Khimaria had been pottering about the cave doing very little except visit the hot springs for the last few hours, and was board of doing nothing.

"Where can i get an alcoholic drink in this town." requested Khimaria, she felth the need of a buzz from a strong alchaholic spirit at that moment, she also wanted some blood to go with it, she didn't feel up to killing a human yet though, she fel like she had a bad headache, yet from experience she found that a mindnumbingly strong drink worked like a charm in situations of overuse of magic.

"well, near here is jimbo's pub, he does a large amount of drinks, and on route there is an old farm, you could probably drain a cow there for its blood." replayed Laura.

Khimaria set out to the pub, the landscape was just endless fields stretching out into the distance, with the odd few houses scattered across the horizon. as laura had said there was a field full of cows on rount, and she quickly jumped the fence as she passed.

She selected a large cow, with lots of meat on its bones, and a lovely pattern of black and white spots on its skin, she felt its neck, slowly tracing the vain down to the heart, slowly running through the names of each of the veins and artery's in its body, seeing if she could remember where was best to drink from in a cow.

She choose a thick feeling artery around its chest with a very powerful pulse and bit into it, instantly a rush of blood squirted into Khimaria's mouth, making a surprising amount of noise, the cows eyes opened wide, but it stayed routed to the spot, entranced, unable to move, Khimaria had gone a long time without blood and quickly finished with this cow, disposing the corps and throwing it into a nearby bush.

Khimaria's head ache had gone away, but she was still very thirsty, she moved onto another cow, subtleties failing her she just took a large bite out of the flesh in its neck, leaving a huge bite mark, and letting blood flow into her mouth through several open veins, she only took half of its blood before casting a simple spell on the cows body disintegrating it to dust her powers returning.

She still felt like she needed a drink, and moved on down the road to Jimbo's pub. it was an old Tudor looking building, with wooden supports, it looked like a pleasant place so she entered through a large side door, she sat on a stool and looked through the drinks list, she decided to look at a selection aptly names "Cutthroats."

Cutthroats, exceedingly strong beverages.

One particular drink caut her eye, and she grabbed the attention of the bar tender.

"I'll take one Zombie please my good man." She said politely, nodding at him.

"Are you sure you want that, its a very strong drink, i have seen it knock out men twice your size." He said with a thick Irish accent

"Yes i want it, i can take a strong beverage when i feel like it."

"you talk like an experienced boozer, yet you look barely twenty one." he laughed.

Khimaria laughed too. "Yes but looks can be deceiving she said as he passed her the shot glass.

She noticed, that him being a good bar tender, he had given her an extremely large spirit, it was in a large shot glass, full to the brim, only held so it didn't overflow by surface tension. she drained the glass in one, coughing a bit her throat burning as it went down, yet it wasn't enough to knock out a vampire.

The man watched her drain the drink with a smile then looked mildly surprised when she payed and got up to leave.

"Wow you shock me." he giggled." i have never seen anyone drink a zombie, then leave and still be able to walk in a strait line."

"Well i guess I'm just special." said Khimaria, then left the shop feeling far better then she had arrived, which as the bar tender said was unusual after a drink as strong as a zombie.

I have this crazy Idea of a fantasy theme, based on the basic rules of nature/existance in this book I'm reading, Amber.

It's a great book and I love the way the world works in it, it could be very interesting as an rpg.

We'll need to talk about it..

Anyone els interested in participating in, what could be, one of the best RPGs you've ever been in? (all deppens on who joins)
