Bit of an excuse to "big up" the moggy here.....

I had a phone call yesterday offering me a place at Birmingham UCE (University of Central England) to study for a degree in Engineering. So it looks like later in the year I'm gonna be an official student.........just enough time to stop washing, grow my hair all long and purchase some wooly jumpers with sleeves 12" too long. 😄

The Uni is local so I don't have to go away anywhere and I won't have to give up work either. I'll have to study part time on 1 or 2 days and a couple of evenings. I wish I'd tried harder when I was at school because it's gonna be harder now having to work and study at the same time.

It's never too late Dim, one of my college tutors from last year was going to Uni part time to do a masters degree and he was over 50!
