Posting a link to a site you have personal interest in is spamming.

Also, linking other boards is against the rules.

JLRed -- spamming = posting links that are irrelevant/of personal interest to the poster
bumping = posting in an old thread and 'bumping' it to the top of the page.

so a bump is bad.........

like if i got the last thread and moved it to the very front that would be a bump.....

a bump is movign a thread to the top of the forum and a spam is a meaningless contant meaningless that it posts

Bumping is basically when you find an old thread (usually one that's been kicked off the first page) and post in it, bringing it back to the top of the first page, that's all.
