In the first 3 films their is a darth sideous, but in the last 3 their is emperor palpatine. I have known that palpatine and sideous were two different people. but my question is what happened to sideous and how did palpatine take his place?😕

Cause he was either pretending to look like a normal, older person as Chancellor Palpatine appeared to be OR he was maimed up by his own force lightning coutesy of reflection by Yoda.

palpatine and sidious were gay lovers.
however, palps got jealous of sidious because he was putting the moves
on anakin. so he killed sidious in a jealous fit of rage, leaving just him and anakin to have their affair.
