Will you be taking your younglings?

I would take my kids....but since I don't have any kids I guess it's just me and my real and imaginary friends

i seriously recommend you leave them at home:

Imaginary friends? 😱

Oh stop!!

Ok now that we've seen some of Anakins demise, is anyone changing their mind? I know judging by those pictures, there is no way Im taking my 11 year old daughter to this one.

Guess this may be my last ever posting but if any of you think that kids aint going to buzz off the darkness in this movie you are off your heads.
I think your forgetting that SW movies are for kids of all ages and if your kids cant handle a crispy dude i guess you get the baby sitter round and make sure she brings a copy of THE SLEEPOVER CLUB on dvd and go to the cinema yourself where you will be greeted by a cinema full of kids who will be loving every minuite of it.
Jesus it aint the Texas Chainsaw Massacre its Star Wars.

Hmmmm...I am still pretty sure my 10 year old can handle it, JP, but I am rethinking my 6 year old, at least until I have seen it. Its going to break his heart, though...

What is your problem?

That would take a whole other thread LS2!

lol

What is the deal? Kids see worse than anything in Ep 3 if they watch the frikkin news...a starving handicapped woman in Florida is vastly more disturbing than burned Anakin.

I'm not sure what kind of kids you guys are trying to raise, but my son can handle a little gruesomeness (he's almost 6). Heck we watched Aliens when he was like 2 and its one of his favorite movies. My boy's afraid of spiders and the dark, not stuff on a screen that he knows isnt real. I'm not trying to talk smack about anyones choices in parenting, but its kind of bugs me that you are all so quick to throw your kids to the PC wolves. IMO, it is this over-coddling of children in this generation that is going to ruin them for adulthood What exactly are you trying to protect your kids from? Nightmares? Big deal, if it aint one thing waking up a kid screaming some nights its another.

My son is the same age I was when I first saw Star Wars. There is no way I am going to insult his intelligence by denying him one of the coolest movies ever.

Sure their are kids who wont be scared but every kid ain't like every other kid. My little sister would freak out if they saw the movie cus that's just the way they are. Not because my parents raised them that way.
