I don't thinks so. It is a single book and a single movie, although it has been on TV as a miniseries, in 3 parts.
And by the way, King is or already has quited writing, too bad.
No, king is not done writing yet. He has said that when he runs out of idea's he will quit. Awhile after his accident he contemplated quiting, but he said that he still has a few years and books in him left. King is one if the best writers of the past four decades. He has touched in ever genre and mastered it. My favorite books of his are It, the talisman, and hearts in atlantis. It was a good movie especially when i was younger. Though it wasnt like the book it created a very vivid atmosphere that was very real in a fantasitical way. It is still a pretty eerie movie, but as i matured it became more humorous than frieghtening. However, the book is still very much horrifying, there is some wierd shit in there. you know king was high as hell when he wrote that book and many others. As for a remake of it, there have been rumors that they were remaking the book in a two hour presentation that would mirror the book more accurately.

um......it wasn't done as a movie. It was done as a 2 part mini-series for television. If memory serves, it originally aired on NBC.......they didn't break it up into 2 parts to later play on television......was a 2 part mini-series from the get go.
Ah, my bad. Thought they originally made it as 1 movie. Thanks!
