I am class of 86, I travelled to Texas (Houston, Dallas) Went to Williamsburg VA, washington DC New York. I`ve been back to the US twice since 1992 and 1999. In 1999 me and Monika toured the entire east coast. Loved Savannah GA what a pretty town, loved almost every town I were in but Savannah was special. New York is cool, spend hours uppon hours in the CD stores there.
I just love the US always have and always will. Keep Stars and Stripes on my desk and after 11 of septenber it became very special and very dear.
Hence the picture workbench in the A year with Live thread 🙂 🙂
Wow, finti. You've been over more of the country than even me.
Bless you (from the bottem of my heart). You cannot imagine how horrible, and yet fantastic the attacks of 9-11 were on this country. Reading your posts, on the fact that you understand and support us, really gives me a buzz.
I find it very offensive that the rest of the world thinks America beleives it is an invincible country. Nothing could be further from the truth. As Americans, we are brought up to believe we've never done anything wrong. . . EVER.
That is COMPLETE bullshit. America has made the biggest mistake of them all: Dropping the atomic bomb.
Always been Americanized, dont know why really. Maybe the fact that my dad worked for Nato and brought back a lot of American stuff which I loved ( fruit loops Star Wars glasses and so on 🙂 )
Have a lot of family over there mostly in Minesota and California. My cousin have never even been to Norway and doesnt speek a word Norwegian while his brother and sister speaks fluently Norwegian. Go figure. Gonna go back to the US but Live has to be a bit older, long ass flight for such a little girl, but we will be back
