She's a Japanese Singer. She holds the record in Japan for the best selling album of all time in Japan in the shortest amount of time. She holds some other records too but I can't remember them all.
She was born in New York City, but since her parents were famous and traveled back and forth between New York and Toyko, she knows how to speak both languages and she came out with a English Album as well.
