Star Wars end??? because Lucas wishes it to end??? and people actually believe that is possible??? comon now really....the Star Wars movies absolutely dominate the top 20 highest grossing movies of all time....the first three were in the top 10 for over ten years. Star Wars is a money making Dynasty....and when episode III comes out (basicly our long awaited even darker Empire Strikes Back) it'll turn these marvel fans into SW fans just like it converted us back in the day. I know Lucas probably will not make any more films...honestly I have no idea why he is so against telling the story...its made him rich beyond his initial expectations and given him creative controls most will never see. Star Wars is his life's work and it is very well recieved...for him to think for a second that hundreds of millions of fans and hollywood executives won't presure his offspring into either selling the rights or making the next three films is kind of adolescent. Simply put SW is at this point is bigger than one man. It has become a part of American society...let it run its course.

Good grief people. Lucas said in late 2004 in Entertainment Weekly that he was not going past ROTS in film and that he had fixed it so no one else could. Then he reiterates that on 60 minutes last night and you STILL can not get it through your heads.....are you deaf? IT'S OVER!! For the love of all that is holy shut up about it already. Some of you forget this saga is 27 years old. Just because you got to the party late doesnt mean it's going to continue for your lifetimes. And Commander, quite simply put LUCAS IS STAR WARS. He OWNS it ALL, lock, stock and barrel. He's paid for it out of his OWN pocket and if he doesnt want there to be another one he's entitled. And he's RIGHT. For the 345,695,709,865th time, the Star Wars saga is the story of ANAKIN SKYWALKER and ENDS with Return of the Jedi.

Some people will never understand that sometimes you CAN get to much of a good thing. And after the critical scrutiny of Eps 1&2 (mentioned on 60 minutes, so I tye into the thread here), can you IMAGINE how people would want to rip on a new set of movies based on characters from the original trilogy??Yikes!

yeah, it did look kinda silly. but it reminds me of the bruce lee movies where he stands and twirls the numchucks like a crazy man. always looks pretty cool. the twirling scene will be completely awesome if they're actually hitting sabers while doing that.
