I just thought why he is so short.

My nan (grandma) is like very old and very short now.
Maybe thats what happens when you reach 800 years.

maybe the elf thing would work.
But i dont see an elf surviving much.

Yoda's short because they didn't have good vitamins back then, and he's green because his arthritis makes bathing a chore. That and it makes him fit into swamps better.
