He also bombarded her with flowers, dinners, and all the little wooing tokens of that nature. I mean seriously, charm powers or not, it was in the bag and I am sad you guys thought otherwise. He really went all above and beyond to get her liking and they may have never been intimate, so maybe you are not giving the guy some credit here?

i never doubted gambit's feelings for rogue, thats not my point...

my point is about that damn power... the power of charm... it defeats the whole purpose of chasing a woman like rogue because in the back of his mind he must wonder whether it was all him or if his power had an effect...

Gambit is by no means gay, but i'd say he's definately a metrosexual...

The funny part is, long pig started this thread as an anti-Gambit
bash, and it ended up as a cutesy, Gambit love-fest.

if he had never had the power and things were the same i wouldnt see any problem... but he does have that power... i'll bet even rogue asks herself sometimes was it all him or his power too...

I'm not sure if I'de date Gambit either honestly, my ex posseses many of his qualities and I Rogue's and I'm looking for something different this time around. Maybe more a Cyclops??? ummm. hmmm..... I don't know...

Pr, maybe they question it, despite his charm powers though they are a perfect couple, I think their personalities are fitting. I know that somewhat contradicts what I said minutes ago, but me and my ex only are similar to these characters in some ways, not the same, just similar. I'm sure things woud have worked out good for us if we were X Men living in the mansion too... yeah, that would be a lot different.

Oh, yup, I'm a mother and proud of my motherly duties which I perform exceptionally well and with grear care. I'm still very young though.

they do fit, i have no argument with that, but youd be surprised how many couples that fit dont work out...

maybe his charm power showed her that they fit, thereby giving him an easy ride in pursuing her? just a thought...

ok... Gambit COULD be an awesome character. I could definitely picture a mutant thief being part of the X-men. But Gambit doesn't really play the part. He's just a really annoying guy who somehow gets the babes, and that just makes me hate him more.
