Adobe photoshop 7.0 help

im trying to set a colour to the paint brush but it always turns grey. even when i set it to red, green or blue it just goes to grey, please help

You have it on Greyscale mode.

Go to Image > Mode > RGB Color 🙂.

ah. thanks

No Problem my friend 🙂

erm...

in photoshop 7 when i try to draw a line it keeps turning into some huge thick rectangle...

ive tried messing about with brushes and everything, and still to no avail...

can anyone help?

that happens to me. adobe photoshop is crap for drawing straight lines. it thinks you want to draw an arrow

When you click on the rectange option there are options along the toolbar which you can change to.

There is a straight line option there this should solve your problem
🙂

I am on Adobe Photoshop 6.0, but it's basically the same thing so here goes...

I just created a signature image and I need help getting the file size down so I can use it.

I tried saving it to .JPG but it lost all it's transparency, and that it what I want the most.

Can someone help?

If you want to retain transparency, you have to save it as a .gif file.

Yup, either or a GIF or a PNG file.

Yeah its a bit of a bummer trying to get a decent filesize

i usually save all my files as .jpg 14.4Kbps and as Quality: 7

when you say the transparency what are you trying to do exactly?

You've seen it now Korri, but anyone on KMC Black can see my mistake.

what mistake? those white spots on the left?

And having the Drop Shadow behind it.

I'm still proud of it, cause this is my first Photoshop signature.

Its really good for a first sig Ken!

it should be easy enough to remove the white spots cant you just crop the signature so the spots are cut away?

I can crop some of it off, but not the shadow w/white on it.

but you can..you have to use that craping thingie and copy the right part...

did you merge the layers down?

if you didnt then you could simply just select the background layer and delete it.
