Count Nefaria V's Superman & Thor

Regular Thor and Superman...... no king this or pre-crisis/prime that

"throw him" i know Thor can open one but i doubt they could chuck him through.... plus he may not be given time to open it in the first place

Count Nefaria is incredibly strong. But Superman would be able to distract Nefaria long enough for Thor to open up a portal. Then Thor and Superman could devote all of their efforts to chucking him into the portal.

Isn't Count Nefaria made of ionic energy? Why can't Thor just absorb it with his hammer?

Superman and Thor combined would seriously mope the floor with him.

i think he's like Wonderman in that he isn't made of it but permeated with it..... either way Thor never did that in the comic possibly because it wouldn't work

Unless the writer was stupid enough to forget that little detail. It doesn't make sense though. Thor's hammer should be able to absorb the ionic energy that Count Nefaria emits since it can absorb pretty much anything.

maybe he didn't because he doesn't really "emit" it...... it's more like supes and his solar reserves

did you read the Thunderbolts/Avengers crossover when they fought Nefaria? he is no going to be mopped up by these two...... they might win but it will take a hell of a lot of effort

During AVENGERS VS JLA it's showed Supes going fist to fist with Nefaria.Nefaria is around Class 3000 Of Strenght, he can lift at max 3000 Tons, he's hella durable, high invulnerability, flight speed in the range of escape velocity, can project ionic energy, and can control every being with sufficient ionic energy in his body.Now when he fought against the T-Bolts and the AVG he was absorbing the power of Atlas and WM, two huge ionic energy batteries.This make him stronger than ever.Without them, he was beated down by Captain America in the Savage Land, without much troubles.Against T-Bolts and AVG, he finally die when he lose control of ionic energy getting enraged cause Atlas and WM absorb all the energy of a ionic bomb, saving the world, without the control over his energy, Nefaria explodes.
Considering Superman and Thor are very strong, and Supes Heat Vision at max intesity plus GodForce Blast are something outstanding to hit Nefaria with, i see him losing.

I didn't know Classes of strength went past 100.

Wow, Thor/Superman Vs. Nefaria would be a decent fight but 2 on 1?

Harsh beating for Nefaria every time.

first off, Nefaria wasn't drawing power from Atlas and Wonderman in that fight, he was just controlling them and the only reason he lost control of his energies was due to one specific weapon designed entirely for the purpose of taking down Nefaria and it still didn't kill him, only cause his body to lose energy at an increased rate
as for Nefaria throwing away Thor's hammer....... i doubt it could happen but Gladiator managed to knock it out of his grip and miles away so Nefaria could do the same
Neferia has taken some of Thor's best hits without even being caused to move, he is way stronger and more resilient than either Thor or Superman

Gladiator knocking Thor's hammer away was inconsistent writing...in the past it was shown whenever Thor and mjolnir were seperated, Mjolnir would come back via teleportation practically instantly...

yeah but that fight was when he had that whole human side emerges when separated from the hammer for 1 minute thing going........ so i think it works differently under those conditions......... and doesn't it only teleport back when it's really really far away...... or in another dimension?
