Episode III ROTS Video Game Discussion [Merged]

I just picked it up today. I'll let you guys know what I think.

I call the Target that I work at to see if we still have it. I got transferred to God knows who, and they say that we don't. I had asked one of my fellow Team Members to put one aside for me, and I asked if they did, and they're like, want me to transfer you to Guest Services? -_- So I make them give me to Electronics, which is who I thought I was speaking to. I get connected, and alas, one was not being held for me. But then the kid's like, wait, Star Wars? We have a ton of those. Episode III? And so I had him put one on hold for me. Now, whether it was the right version (PS2), I don't know, I think it was. But if it was the DS one, that'll suck. Time will tell, mainly about 20 hours or so.

Astrofan, to answer your question about the ticket. Everyone's is like that . My ticket says the same thing. So get to your movie theatre early on the 18th and get in line. As far as the game, it is awesome. I love this game.

cool..is there a difficulty setting? or just default AI?

There are 3 diff. settings, I am not sure if they apply to duel bots or not, but the first few duels I did the comp was not holding back.

I only wish the arenas had multiple parts like in the single player, where you fight for a while before a cutscene than be in another area.

But the dueling is great, all the fighters are different, the arenas have alot of interactive items for force use, and after the single player you will have the controls mastered for the multiplayer.

I recommend ateast a rental, I have a feeling everytime you see the movie you may want to recreate the duels.

On the side, the mustafar duel is amazing, both guys screaming at eachother the entire time. Including some awesome lines from Kenobi, "Anakin Skwalker is dead!!!"

Got my sister to loan me $20 but I still need $30 more. well, I got 2 more sisters with money.

I unlocked Darth Vader (via codes because I have no shame) 😉

You battle Obi Wan in the scene from A New Hope. It's not too bad. Not too epic, though. It's funny to hear old Obi Wan taunting Vader!

do they use old style fighting? or newer stuff?

It was a little slower, if that's what you mean. Not sure the difference between the two. But you got to throw Obi Wan at walls, etc. It's a hoot!

The code you use is NARSHADDAA. It unlocks all the bonus missions.

The Vader one is the last one.

I had 2 big disappointments with this game:

1. No online
2. No space battle at the beginning like in Lego Star Wars. (Hey! I like flying around and shooting things! -- ala Rouge Squadron)

well..if theyre your only disappointments....im happy to live with it😄

Anyone made it past the utapu level were you got to dismantle the jauggernots cannons im freaking stuck on that 1

Anakin defeats Obi Wan and walks away after kicking him down the lava bank. He then meets up with the Emperor---- and promptly runs him through. Anakin declares himself the new Emperor and the game ends.

who do you play as during the duel? can you choose?

You play as Obi Wan. But if Anakin defeats you, you see the alternate ending.

At least, that's what I THINK is the way to it.

Again, since I'm shameless, I got to it via code. :-)

The code is COMLINK which unlocks all the cutscenes and clips.
