The game only came out in New Zealand yesterday. I honestly cant remember the last time i sat playing a game with such a geeky grin on my face, this game rocks. I cant understand where IGN was coming from with that damning review, how can you not enjoy this game? The only problem i have is that i would have loved to see a bigger roster in the versus mode. The whole Jedi council would have been great, Yoda is alot of fun to play as and is sorely missed in the versus. I would have traded the 2 new characters for Yoda and The Emperor. The movie footage looks great especially the opening space battle, glad it doesnt show too much to be honest but im sure that opinion will change after i've seen the movie. All in all this is the most fun i can remember having playing a video game. 👆
after seeing the movie clips in this game, is anyone else dissapointed with Grievous? I mean, he was such a badass, terrifying mofo in the cartoon, and in the movie he's a cross between the villain from robocop II and an asthmatic velociraptor. Even his voice sucks, it's gone from shredder (from ninja turtles) through a ring modulator to a bad ham radio transmission. I mean, I know Mace really did a number on him in the last episode of the cartoon (creating the coughing, and necessitating the new chest tank), but did lucas have to make him so wimpy?

How good is THE DUEL? What's the co-op mode about? Thanx in advance!
No you dont choose which hero, you must play as who they tell you in each level. You use all the same moves against droids as you do in duels, but both experieces couldnt be more different. I fyou are referring to the final I thought it was great, great dialogue between the tow the entire time. The mid fight cutscenes are very well done thought the end is a little plain as Obi-Wan doesnt have is post fight monologue, probably saving for the movie. The duel is also as challenging as you would expect the final boss to be, and it is fairly long covering 6 different areas.
Co-op is basically garbage. you just go though a really short level chopping up enemies with no real goal. There are no cutscenes or point to the levels, they are really short, easy, and there are only a few levels.
It would have been better if a second person could just press start and join you in single player, like in the old Ninja Turtles game(ah the memories).
The single player is great fun even though it is short as hell.
The multiplayer maps are basically all the maps from the boss duels in the game except missing a few areas from Mustafar and Coruscant. Most of the maps have tons of interactive stuff to force use, I love the training arena, tons of crap to throw at and throw into.
The only real force powers are push, throw, run, stun(light), and lightning(dark). Though all the characters have multiple unique force powered attacks.
