Yeah, it's up
Sony Classical and Lucas Online are making available a special preview of the hotly anticipated soundtrack release of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith for members of Hyperspace: The Official Star Wars Fan Club. Composed and conducted once again by five-time Oscar winner John Williams, the soundtrack weaves new music with classic themes to bring together the entire Star Wars saga into a dramatic conclusion.
The featured cue is "Grievous speaks to Lord Sidious," a rousing piece of adventurous music that accompanies General Grievous' flight to the sinkhole world of Utapau, where he makes holographic contact with his shadowy superior, Darth Sidious. The preview consists of 60 seconds of this new music.
To play the piece, click on the above graphic. Once on the preview page, make sure you have the appropriate track selected in the player by clicking on the "TRACKS" header. (Note: Macromedia Flash Player 7 is required.)
The soundtrack CD will be released on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 and will include an exclusive collector's DVD, Star Wars: A Musical Journey. For more information about this release, see this story here.
