Revenge of the Sith Soundtrack [Merged]

one thing, I know that John Williams was heavily influenced by Igor Stravinsky for his Star Wars work (listen to Episode IV especially, that one almost had Stravinsky's Rite of Spring as its soundtrack), and I would have liked to have had something like the last movement from the Rite of Spring end the Obi-Wan vs. Anakin. I can send you guys a sample over IM if you'd like to hear it although I encourage you to purchase it, since it is extremely good and is probably the most contraversial piece of classical music ever written.
Basically, it's a serious of tense themes playing over many compound time signatures and then ending in a giant, dissonant crescendo.

tlbauerle, I've listened to your symphony a few times over the last days (more and more as each day passes). It's really terrific. You have a good feel, you know what and where to cut. Normally I don't like compilations (I haven't listened to my John Williams conducts John Williams cd in years), but your symphony such a fun, smooth listen. I look forward (...or hear forward hahahaha -cough- thumbleweed cricket owlhowl) to your take on the OT.

It would be great if the ROTS OST bonus DVD would be like your symphony with the same flow in the images.

I think someone should try and make a music video, just for fun. download the last two music videos, make an edit of about 4-5 minutes of the song from episode three and put trailer footage and stuff into it. could be pretty cool. I would try but I don't have any editing programs with a timeline right now.

How come (on iTunes) the "Battle of the Heros" exclusive track is advertised: "features never-before heard dialog from the film."

I downloaded the track because of that but there is NO DIALOG in the track! Wft?

Does anyone know if the dvd battle of heroes video is going to be showing a lot of new scenes or vital scenes, b/c if it is Im not gonna watch it, I've already seen so much and I don't want to see anything else until the movie comes out

I was at the San Diego Padres baseball game last night and they played Battle of the Heroes as background music while announcing the opposing team's lineup. That was a nice little surprise!!!
