Anybody watch Entertainment Tonight earlier, they showed some of the music video to battle of the heroes, which will be on the bonus dvd next week. One of the scene it showed was Obi-wan crash landing his jedi starfighter inside the Invisible Hand, and then ignting his lightsaber and cutting out of the cockpit and starting to destroy battle droids. It was awesome.
tlbauerle's Symphony for a Saga...
is GREAT! the only beef I have with it is that there is no Ewok song in ROTJ! ahh! 😉
some constructive criticism: I don't really like the transition between Return of the Jedi and Finale... I thought it was to sudden and premature (?)
but other than that it's a great listen!
🤘
ah....
Sorry...source music.
To make you feel better...I tried putting both the original and the new celebration song...but the sudden introduction of percussion and voices was distressing.
As far as the Palpy/ROTJ change...I rather like it. It kind of builds continually without much room to breathe...as the climax...that was kind of my goal.
mmm, yeah makes sense not to include it really... ah well 🙂
actually with the ROTJ change I think it might be my player... it doesn't flow right through, there's a slight pause before it goes into the Finale.
actually, it does that with all of them now, come to think of it... it never used to. I used to be able to play your PT playlist continuous, but now there's a pause between the tracks...
my setting must have got screwed or something...
It may actually be that your virtual memory or paged memory is low. A restart may fix that. I'm also considering uploading trackless versions of the suites...meaning six tracks instead of fifty.
What do you think?
Also once I have the ROTS soundtrack and find the AOTC w/bonus track online, I'll rip them at wave quality and release the whole thing at a higher bit rate on torrent...or maybe even FLAC or SHN.
Then after May it might go moratorium...giving people something collectable to trade for unreleased scores and forcing people to hunt for it who have been naysayers and not downloaded it.
Hopefully, this will eventually be hailed as a great work by fans for a long time to come. At least that's my dream! I wonder how many people have it by now? Probably close to 200 I think.
A shame I haven't had more feedback so when I rework it with additional material I can take people's views into consideration.

yeah, I think a trackless version would be great!
and yea I think you're right about the memory... just restarted and replayed it and it sounded much better.
I think easily 200 people have it by now... did you ever get to releasing it at MF? that place gets shitloads of traffic!
In the way of criticism there's little else I can say... I'm not really a musical aficionado or expert... all I can say is that what I heard is great!
DP never got back to me...I've been holding off on going to MF.com just yet. I was going to hit the Galactic Senate...Although TBONE didn't really have much to say about it other than asking why I did it or what its purpose was. He didn't understand I just did it for fun and kept thinking I was asking him for hosting or something.
The reason I'm putting off MF.com is because I want to stay under LFL radar for quite a while. Maybe after ROTS is released I'll post it there. I just don't want (http://musicofstarwars.tripod.com) to get shut down.
