Just got back from my local comics store and my my kindly comic book guy passed me the first part of the Revenge of the Sith comic book adaptation, which was delivered to him by the distributors my accident 3 weeks early! Now, I've just taken a peek on Ebay and cant see one on there yet so maybe I'm one of the few lucky ones to get my hands on it so far!He post some dialogue:
Obi Wan: He's close.
Anakin: The chancellor?
OW: No, Count Dooku.....
They both enter the chamber....
OW: Chancellor!
A: Are you alright?
Palpatine (chained to seat): Anakin...Droids....Count Dooku suddenly appears on a balcony above them...
OW: This time we do it together.
A: I was about to say that.Dooku jumps the great height to the floor...
D:Your swords please Master Jedi. Lets not make a mess in front of the Chancellor.
OW: You will not escape this time Dooku!
A: My powers have doubled since we last met, Count.
D: Good! Twice the pride, double the fall. I have looked forward to this, Skywalker!Then, a few panels of intense saber action. ObiWan approaches up satirs to blindside Dooku, who says: "Your moves are clumsy Kenobi....." and then force-pushes him violently away....."too predictable."
Anakin shouts "NO!!" and even more violently force pushes Dooku across and off what appears to be a balcony.
D: I sense great fear in you, Skywalker. You have Power. You have Anger. But you do not use them!
And its at this point, a grinning evil Palpatine starts goading Anakin, manipulating him to take the step towards the darkside.
P: Use your aggressive feelings Anakin! Call on your rage!!........FOCUS IT!!!
A flurry of aggressive saber blows twirl and overcome Dooku, ending in a "SWIK!" which detaches Dookus right hand and lightsabre (which contradicts what we have read on the boards and in the pictures showing Dooku with both hands missing??)
P: Good Anakin, Good!! I knew you could to it!! Kill Him! KILLLLL HIIIIM!
D: (weakly) Protect me Chancellor....
P: DO IT!!
A: I shouldn't.....SWISH.......
Blimey....right....heres the details....The book starts with the scroll which we all know.....space fight with Obi in his fighter shouting "Anakin, they're all over me!" They only refer to "the command ship" which they crash onto.They are confronted by Grievous's henchmen and various droids, come under attack, but escape by sabreing into the floor, dropping into one of the fuel tanks. then they find the chamber....as quoted earlier....raced for the bridge, but come into contact with a "ray shield". Palpatine wants to negotiate their release. They are surrounded again by the aforementioned and taken to Grievous. A little dialogue, big scrap with some force moves, ship starts breaking up, Grievous uses his grapple and a Henchmans staff to break a window to escape to the pods, launches them and hops in the last. Artoo helps slow the ship down by opening hatches, extending flaps and drag fins. Half the ship falls away. Ship crashes.....Mace appears! Yay! 3 pages of dialogue including Bail and Padme.....Final page set on Utapau...Grievous talks to the Seperatist Council and talks to Sidious on hologram with the final words coming from Sidious: "The death of Lord Tyranus was a necessary loss, which will ensure our victory. I will soon have a new apprentice....one younger....and more powerful!"
