Once seeders are in place, and I have chapter 24, I'll post that as well.
23 is only in avi I have chapter 22 in QT. There is also a torrent of it up at www.demonoid.com
Let me post this here for everybody (and feel free to reference this post! 😛 )
Torrent files are NOT multimedia files. They are very small reference files. They refer to something known as a tracker. Trackers are basically websites that coordinate the download process among a group of peers trying to download the same file.
BitTorrent technology is P2P. That means you need a client...a program to use it. Instead of searching inside the program for files, like one does in KaZaA or any other P2P program, the searching takes place outside of the program. That means you have to find a website, do a google search, or come to a message board to find torrents.
Once you have a torrent (a reference to the file you want to download), you open it up in your BitTorrent P2P client.
The BitTorrent client will communicate with the tracker found in the torrent file to find out who else is trying to download/upload the file. Those that are uploading are called seeders. Those that are trying to download are called leechers.
The technology works on the principle that if one person wants to upload a file and 200 people want to download it, instead of that one person working to upload the file to each of the 200 people individually, the 200 people will each download pieces of the file and exchange the pieces among themselves. This can dramatically increase the speed of downloads if all 200 people are uploading while they download. It is built into the program that the faster you upload, generally the faster you download...kind of a reward system. Once one has the file, it is common courtesy to keep uploading to others for a while until you have a good share ratio.
I hope this helps everybody. I highly recommend the Azureus BitTorrent client that can be found here:
By the way, I am uploading Chapter 22 in QuickTime format. What is sad is that the DivX avi is higher quality. The audio is better, the resolution is higher, the framerate is higher, and no HS logo in the bottom right...just a small narrow Toonami logo at the top right. And it is only 20 MB larger. You would think SW.com Hyperspace would offer a higher quality version than that. 🙁
But I'm uploading it just the same!!! 😄 😎 💃
