Ad banners

I realize without a descent ad blocker I'll still get banner ads and whatnot, but what's with all the "Ghosts Caught on Tape" ads? When I click on it there's nothing about ghosts at all, it's a "prize" site. Do ads pops up taking into account the sites you've visit, or are they totally random?

Please don't try to bypass the ads. They help pay for the servers that help KMC stay alive.
