X-team VS. Doomsday

what do you mean??

Doomsday was immune to telepathy because he really didn't have much of a mind. Now he does, and it's actually made him less threatening. So current Doomsay goes down to the psis on the team.

😠 I hate what they did to Doomsday! How can you be afraid to die when you can't really die, and just come back a whole lot stronger. >.> Oh, and has anybody read the new issue of Supes where Doomsday is in it. I want to know if it's worth getting or is Doomsday screwed up more.

Well this all depends on what DD we're taling about here. If it's sentient Doomsday or Doomsday Rex than yeah the x-team wins for sure. If not (and I don't see the thread stating DD rex anywhere. Than all that this thread has accomplished is piling up x-bodies left and right. Apocalypse took down slews of x fighters in a weakened state, Doomsday isn't prone to psychic attack and the x-team doesn't have the physical strength to put him down either. He took out the entire GL corpse on an even playing feild, The x-men are no GL corpse and they're gonna get a major ass handing here.

Doomsday is a "hero" in it. He basically helps Supes fight a few hundred Gogs.

Now, how Superman and Doomsday COMBINED could even beat ONE Gog is beyond me, considering how Gog is above skyfather level. How they can beat hundreds is insane. It sucks.

A lot of X-fighters would go down awfully fast against original Doomsday. It would really come down to a core few: Iceman, Cable, Joseph, Jean, with Storm and Polaris playing back up, and if Havok and Cyclops function without holding back, they could take Doomsday. If, during that time, Forge is working in the background with some kind of container device or dimensional shifting device, he could probably have it ready by the time they've taken down Doomsday, to get rid of him permanently.

I'd say the comic is more or less worth a read. I love the artwork, it's really well done. The writing is confusing but it has it's endearing moments along with a few cool panals (the superman army vs. Gog 100 year battle.) Overall I'd say if you've got a few extra bucks why not.

Where'd this come from? How is he above a skyfather? Sure he killed a bunch of Supermen, but was it not because his sceptor was powered by hundreds or thousands of red sun energy?

No, it was because he was empowered by a portion of the power of all the elder gods in DC. They said it made him more powerful than all of them. Akin to the Destroyer when he was sent to battle the Celestials.

One minute no way Iceman can do anything to Doomsday as he has no blood to freeze, or organs.

yeah, but he'll be immune to that type of attack minutes after it gets used on him, if that.

But Doomsday moves as fast, if not faster than Superman. He'd take out most of the X-men before they knew there was a fight.

if i remember correctley spues said that it was hard fighting dd because he was so fast

Yeah, DD is a really fast fighter. He did some DBZ-like combo on Booster Gold where he punched Booster, then went, grabbed a car and smashed Booster with it before Booster hit the ground from DD's first hit.

I read that and thought..."Damn".
