And it's True. But at least it's the best Die Hard immitator, way better than those Bruckmonster films.

I thought Speed was good. Even though I hate Keau Reeves.

Why do you hate him?...BTW Matrix was really good....What ever happened to those plans to make a sequel to the Matrix??????

Armageddon was actullay kind of good. So not a total loss.I agree!

1)Die Hard : One of the first great action films.
2)Leathal Weapon: Great buddy cop movie with real to life characters.
3)Matrix: The bar wasn't just raised. It was catapulted into space.
4)The Rock: breathed new life into the careers of both leads.
5)ID4: What a blockbuster is suppose to be like.
6)Top Gun: just Cool
7)Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee was a God in the land of action.
8)Rambo First Blood: The one great film in this trilogy
9)Terminator 1: I always liked Arnold better as the villan
10)Speed: Was cool because it was good despite the built in limitaions.

I would like to add Black Hawk Down as an honorable mention.
It was outstanding but I didn't know who to bump off.

Maybe it beats out Speed

2. Die Hard: Bruce Willis fighting crime without shoes..................
3. Rush Hour 2
4.Shanghai Noon
5.The One ( Jet Li)
6. Kiss of the Dragon ( Jet Li)
7.The 5th Element
8. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
9.Beowulf ( with Christopher Lambert)
10. The Highlander( the first one)

Oniablo, Im soo Glad you mentioned Shanghai Noon.

It did'nt make my best action list, because it not only is a great Action movie, but in MY view, it's toally a GREA movie PERIOD. Comedy, Action, Story...Wilson and Chan had more Chemistry than Chan and Tucker did in Rush Hour 1, and it was definitly better than Rush Hour 1. Not funnier than Rush Hour 2, but yet again I think the Story was better than RH 2.

Shanghai Noon was SOOO overlooked, that I felt sorry for it. But it's Perfect movie.

Oddly enough they are making a Sequel. Shanghai Knights.

it was quite good!.a great action comedy...good entertainment..but nothing more!

I've read about the sequel......it's supposed to take place in Britain of something like that.( Hence the word Knights in the title) But i'm not quite sure on this.
