ugh everything that should be talked about in here is getting a thread. . and enough converstion can come off of it, that it doesn't get moved here 🙁

OK the new hp book will be called Harry Potter and the half blood prince: confirmed by jk at a meeting in london: i also have been told by a reliable source that harry and hermione and harry and cho WILL NOT!!!! end up dating :also confirmed by jk: and harry and dumbledore are not related :also confirmed: we will find out more about the motorcycle we will also find out a very VERY important fact about harry's mom lily jk also stated at a book signing in wales that the sixth book MIGHT be shorter than the fifth but she dosent want to reveal anything but i would love to hear more theories from you guys i have heard some pretty logical theories :except the relationships: thats all i have about know though. 💃

i need a release date so i can have a date to look forward to and can start counting down! even a month would be nice

yea a but a day would be even better. it's stupid, she had all these fans wanting to know one single date and she won't even give us a clue!! 🙁

I don't know why she would call book six HP and the Half Blood Prince. Personally, I thought that HP and the Green Flame Torch was more intriguing. Better title. But didn't go along with the plot, I guess.

I thought I heard this book was going to a two parter? I would like to see Snape's story evolve a bit more. Although he is a bit sinister at times, I would like to see him at least once in combat against the Death Eaters. I'm sure he is a very powerful wizard.

Maybe in the last book....

anybody else read that on JK's site? possibly suggesting she was goin over the first 20 chapters of half-blood prince?

i would also love to hear more about snape. dunno how soon we'll see him fighting a DE since they believe he's on their side and and he can't blow his cover. maybe he has some very important info in the next book.

i didn't believe the title was hbp at first...didn't like it much.it's different fom the first five and sounds a bit like a fairy tale. but i've gotten used to it now and actually like it.

it's not gonna be a two parter....jk even said that it's probably gonna be shorter than book 5.

the first time i read that it actually said she PROOF read 20 chapters but when i went back the word proof was gone and i started to think i'm a bit paranoid. anyway....according to lots of others that word was actually there (and i am not crazy or paranoid). now some poeple on mugglenet believe she's finished the book and is editing it now before she turns it in. according to jk she does most of the editing herself before she turns it in. so it could take her quite a while but she said theeditors don't have too much to do once they have it
