if dumbledore dies then magongal will get his job and i think jk.rowling said that she wont get his job anytime soon and if voldemort kills dumbledore it wouldn't make sinse cause why wait so long or maybe if dumbledore is off gaurd but it seems that dumbledore knows everything that goes on and i mean everything it just doesn't fit but i do think that dumbledores part is way more important on this book then any other cause if you notice on the cover it harry and dumbledore in all the other covers its just harry or harry stands out from the other people but in this book harry and dumbledore stand out it makes since he might be the half blooded prince. and besides you can't judge if somones going to die or not by the expression on thier face do you see harry smiling on any of the book cover ............................................my point proven

Wow, that was one mighty long run-on sentence! But you do bring up a good point about the covers of the books!
On the PS/SS US cover, Harry alone is illustrated w/ his Nimbus 2000. He is obviously the major character, while everone else, including Ron and Hermione, are peripheral characters.
On the CoS US cover, there is more detail, including the Basilisk and the wall where the message was written. Again, the only major character is Harry.
But then we come to the PoA cover, w/ Harry AND HERMIONE on Beaky's back. There is also a shadowy figure (Sirius) standing in a window. Hermione is becoming a more central character and Sirius clearly plays a huge role in books 3-5.
On the GoF US cover we see Harry in the foreground, w/ Fleur, Viktor and Cedric (the Tri-Wizard Tournament Competitors). There is also a dementor and Snuffles. Harry is growing in his interpersonal relationships, hence the pictures of more characters.
Oh but wait, then in OotP, on the cover, we revert back to a solo picture of Harry...why? B/c he is often seen alone in the book. He does not interact much w/ Ron or Hermione b/c they are doing their prefect duties, or Harry is in detention w/ Umbridge. Although he does interact w/ people during their DA meetings, Harry is not just a member, he is their leader.
Now, for HBP...Harry and Dumbledore are together, sharing equal cover space. What could it mean? Hopefully Dumbledore will talk to Harry throughout this one, maybe even shed some more light onto the mystery of the veil, Harry's parents (which we know is going to happen anyway, we just don't know if it is Dumbledore who tells him...it might be Lupin), and Harry's next challenge w/ Voldemort...I'm hoping Harry and Dumbledore fight side by side again, 'cause that was awesome in the Ministry of Magic!
Alright, just a thought, tell me what you think!
