Extreme Horror ?

I've Been a big fan of guinea pig's series for years now , and recently came across ToeTag Pictures that i enjoy also ... for those who dont know its basicly murder/snuff film serial killer type ... poeple get torture and killed and nothing is censored , violence whit a big V .. looks 100% real .

Now , I heard about this movie a month ago , called Murder-Set-Pieces .. directed by Nick Palumbo .. It Featured Tony Todd (Candyman) and Gunnar Hansen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) And The F/X where made by toe tag pictures .. 30 people are murdered in this film. A record for a horror film. 55 gallons of blood was spilled. A record for a slasher film. The first American horror film to be rated NC-17. Basicly is about a viscious sex murderer. He is part Ted Bundy, part Jeffery Dahmer, part Andre' Chikatiloh ..

They been rejected and "Banned" from 3 majors labs .. Technicolor in Los Angeles, DuArt Labs in New York City, and Deluxe Labs in Los Angeles for his content and Technicolor called the cops on them because they tough it was real ... Reps from Lions Gate Films have been reported as having said that they were " too scared to touch Murder-Set-Pieces " we can't let this happen. .. After a screening at a theater full of distributors in November ..

Anyway .. the main question is , is it too much ? , is society is prepare for that kind of movie and what do you think of it ... would you go see a Nc-17 Horror Film ..

I cant past the link ... but go to frightflix ( add the www and dot com ) , there is a trailor ....

I don't feel like downloading the Macromedia plugin so I can't view the site.

I really wanna see that! An NC-17 horror is what I wanna see 'cause there are no limits and could scare the best of us.

The same was said about "House of 1,000 Corpses". Granted, it's probably tame in comparison, but publicity like that tends to generate a buzz that will more than likely go unfulfilled.

But, from the looks of this, I'd love to see it.

hardly, in most zombie movies that number is passed in no time at all. in braindead the uncle kills about that many people in about 2 minutes. all those stats are, like Cory said, just for promoting.

I thought the trailer looked good I would go to see it or rent it also I want to see the guinea pig movies they released a box set supposedly at best buy according to fangoria

This thread on the IMDB.com message boards pretty much lays all those false pretenses to rest, as well.

I mean, sell it on its own merit. The trailer looks promising, and that should be enough. Overhyping it will just get you a backlash.

haha i should have check before writting those "fact".. but in the case of a human serial killer .. 30 might be the records .. but i didnt sorry ... i dont really consider it horror .. more like a extreme thriller ... just a regular guy who gratuitously kill/rape/torture beautiful woman's at night ..

A little bit like august underground's mordum ... but less hardcore ...

but like the purpose of that treads was more to know your opinion on those "fake snuff" genre ...

"Snuff" the movie was weak, and I think the closest thing to mainstream snuff was "8mm", with Nic Cage.

thought i'd let you know, i really like 8mm, Joel Schumacher is a really really good director and Nick Cage is pretty fine from time to time

Come on your average zombie movie goes over 30 people

Yeah, 30 didn't sound right to me. I thought maybe he meant slasher films.

ok we are agreed that the stats are crap ,dawn of the dead has lots more than that ,this without doubt bullshit to hype the movie i dontt beleive anything i read about a movie untill i actually watch it,the reason? u may ask well there was a movie???? called the blair witch project, and supposedly it was the scariest movie ever ,so i managed to aquire it b4 it hit the uk so i rushed home put on the dvd and low and behold it was the biggest piece of un adulterated shit i have ever witnessed, now bearing in mind i have been watching movies and i do mean all kinds of movies since i was 10 when home video first came to the uk i have seen just about everything that has been made and released on video since then i now own over 6700 movies myself, and the blair witch project sticks out in my mind as 1 of the worse movies ive ever seen and the reason why it does ,is because so musch hype surrounded it we were led to beleive it would be really scary, yeah right ,it was just hype so before any1 beleives that msp is gonna be "all that" i can assure u it probably wont be,reviews off ppl that have allready seen it say they dont show that much and most murders happen off screen, the painful truth is hype sells movies and while ever ppl like us who are waiting to see that 1 movie that scares the shit out of us they will continue to make money !,ok ill get off my soap box now 🙂

I dont want to see some guy rape and kill woman just for the sake of it, sounds like bullshit to me, blood and violence is not what makes a good horror film, its exploitation and its not difficult to do and doesnt involve any skill or talent, I dont know why anyone would want to see something like this or real Snuff, other than to satisfy some empty need in their black vacuous heart, anyone who wants to see this film to see the gore and violence should really question themselves and ask themselves why.

🤨 oof ,,,what happened there?...Ill get off my soapbox now yinyanggunsmilie
