Rogue vs Storm

because in most cases it is. if rogue gets close enough and hits her then its most likely over. storm can keep her at bay and most likely take her out. imo it is evenand storm wins 6/10 times

actually she has gone crazy absorbing a lot of peropel- check uncannyxmen.net and go to spotlight section and look at rogues absorbation section and a lot of people she either couldn't, gone crazy, or the other personality took over with her absorbing them

The vast majority of people she couldn't absorb were unusually powerful. Storm doesn't fit in that category. In fact, Rogue has absorbed Storm before. She didn't go crazy.

yeah we kinda established that. imo its even cause througth out storms history she has used her powe4s for a wide variety of affects most happening instantley- making fog, momentarily blinding someone, freezing people, frezing people just by a little to slow them down, creating hail, and more. all rogue can do is absorb powers, uper strength, and flight. even though those are good powers storm has more versitality in figths than rogue

Storm does has more options for an attack than Rogue, but unfortunately for her, none of them will do enough damage to keep Rogue from getting to her.

I can agree with that, Stormfront. Rogue isn't so invulnerable that Storm is incapable of hurting her. She did kill the Hulk, after all. Rogue is MUCH less durable than the Hulk.

In truth, I think this would be a harder battle for Storm than the Hulk because Rogue is so much more mobile. What she lacks in the Hulk's brute strength she makes up for in speed and her ability to apply a lot of pressure to Storm. Storm would have to act quickly and decisively to take out Rogue. Nothing less than a full powered lightning bolt would do it.

Good match, though.

On the other hand, Rogue smacks her once and she's quite possibly dead.

Which is a liability on Rogue's part. X-men don't kill, so Rogue would pull her punches on Storm. Because Rogue is invulnerable, Storm wouldn't have to pull her punches on Rogue.

If she were invulnerable her punches wouldn't matter. Pulled or not 🙂.

well lightning can be higher than 5,000 degrees and i'm just wondering if rogue can withstand that?? she may be able to and she may be not but lightning can be a lot hotter and more powerful than this

Nothing wrong with explaining things. Bloodlust Rogue could kill Storm. Rogue in character would lose.

With or w/out bloodlust this battle would result in Rogue handing storm her ass.

Um, people...like real, everyday, not in a comic book world people...get hit by lightning and live a decent amount of the time. I don't know how "hot" lightning is, but something tells me if John Doe can take a lightning bolt then so can Rogue.

Storm...versatile? Certainly. Enough so that she can slow down Rogue before she gets punched? Probably not.

imo storm wins- no person has ever been hit by the full force of lightning and when peoiple get hit by only like half the force of lightning they are hurt pretty badly. but this is rogue and rogue is invulnerable, but i don't think she can stand a full blast of lightning which can be way over 5,000 degrees. but this is jst my opinion
