I can confirm it though. Like during the off season the don't show new ones. But the re-runs are almost always the newer ones that you might have missed during the last season.

oh.....you mean in the summer....too bad I don't watch too much tv...then I'd have seen many more Simpson's episodes...it is a very funny show 😉
