Autoexec.nt

Okay, I tried to install a game and it kept giving me this message, no matter which way I tried to install it (autoplay, the setup file on the disc).

C😬WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application

I was then given two options, Choose or Ignore, both of which did apparently nothing.

I'd like to install the game...

Any ideas?

you should read the solutions microsoft has to offer on this page:

Yeees... Sorry, a bit slow at 2 in the morning.

I've got another question with some relevance - once I successfully installed the game, I can't play it! It says something else is using the disk now. Man, this sucks.

well, what's the exact message?
