GTA I can understand. Halo, no.
It made little history in the FPS genre with its unique weapon system but other than that, most features hav already been done. It might have good graphics but every 3 months, a game comes out with better graphics so its hardly a game that made history aside from being popular.

I say. Half Life, Doom, Super Mario Brothers, GTA, Alone in the Dark, Street Fighter, Madden, Sim City and I cant think of any others. but there's more

The Sims i guess, although i dont like their games that much. But they technicaly created their own genre of game.

Halo and Halo 2 made history by being the first games ever to actually have a storyline to it. GTA's story is to sell drugs, get drugs, kill gangs, and kill other innocent people. How Brilliant.

Ok, now I see how GTA have made history.
But saying that halo has made history is just wrong.

Explain to me which GTA made history, and what it did that made it history....

halo was one of the most overhyped games ever made...

it was enjoyable but could have been so much better...

GTA was the first of its kind... does that make it historical? in the controversy stakes sure...
