It's definetly Superman's fight to lose.

But I also think that if Hal manages to perform to the best of his abilities, he could get atleast a 6-7/10.

Yeah actually... Superman is in Hal's league. And if Hal wins the majority, it certainly is not 8/10. They've been portrayed as equals way too long for anyone to say either of them gets 8/10 over the other.

When have they ever really been portrayed as equals?

Usually when things get really bad in DC it becomes "a job for Superman" not the GL corp. Forget power sets think about how it goes down. You have a Universe beater to beat Superman is the guy you want in your corner. Imperiex, Darkseid etc.

good point. it all boils down to supes saving the day in dc. not hal. supes is just to much for hal, im afriad.
