No offense but Filipino movies can be corny sometimes. Especially the Lito Lapid action movies. 😂The dramas are usually good though.
However, I am also saying that there are a lot of Filipino Films that are also quality films. That's why some of them were internationally claimed films.

No. MMFF is not intended for Fantasy, Horror and Comedy alone. Mano Po trilogy was not in those genre, remember? Tanging Yaman, Muru-Ami, Bagong Buwan, Aishite Imasu, are all drama movies and had tendencies to win the Film Fest. Hindi dahil yun and ipinalalabas sa MMFF, yun na lang lahat. Hindi ba? 🙂
