Just because you have a good writer write one of your comics doesn't mean you're the greatest of all time. Neal Gaiman, Frank Miller, Todd MacFarlane, Alan Moore, Dave Sim, and Grant Morrison have all written Spawn, and he's not the greatest character of all time. 😉
