No. reasons:

Well... my my 20cents. 😄So, if Paola agrees with my idea- as everyone appears to- (I know it's not only my idea, but the group bit is mine. I'm not trying to hog the glory- if there is any to be ha 😉) we the people should vote on five dudes. I say only the guys who've been in this thread a lot. Me, PR, Scoob, Merc, etc... (No, I don't think Whirly should get to vote). The sub-mods would then report to Paola to swear htemselves to complete secrecy. So... yea. Anything I missed? Should I bash twiddledum somemore (JK 😉, welcome to the crew, whirlysplat 😄)

Quality not quantity. For example, what were those 50 or so pages of you argueing physics with Cosmic Cube?

this is stupid.....i say make a rule that the ratio of a user's posts and the thread that he opens....be consistent.....not 175 threads and 250+ posts...thats just stupid.......also make a rule like it was mentioned here....that a user must be on this board for at least sometime before allowing him to open threads......and the mods should be more strict..when it comes to new members.....
umm.....i say less then a month...also u look at his posts....if they exhibit knowledge..then the guy shouldnt be considered new.but if the guy just makes stupid posts....u as a mod....should c it...there are alotof senior members here.that dont care about the forum.and make stupid posts.....they have no knowlege on comics..other new members make really smart comments...it depends on the user....u cant quantify every new user according to his time here.but rather u look at the quality of his posts.....

I'd say something on the lines of 50 posts in this forum alone allows you to post a thread.
It takes a long time to do 50 in one forum, plus if theyre just spamming, we'll see it anyways.
Also, just being omnipresent mod, always around would also help stop some of the spam/bad thread.
Col, you can't be mean though, I just get the feeling whoever gets mod will be an a-hole to people, that's just not cool.
