but the movie was awesome even though they left a LOT out, well we cant expect the whole book in just a movie just the essential no?

It was OK....

Pros:
Funny scenes
Didn't drag
Good casting(well almost)
Great special effects

Cons:
Confusing story
Rushed
A LOT of things cut out
Third task was (in my opinion) horrible
Crouch sucked (also in my opinion)
Horribly Short
Cut Out Basicaly The Whole Damn Thing

ya the dumble does seem a bit too serious / aggresive in this movie and the last yes but not as much

I think it was good, but for me John William's score was a big thing that added to the magic of the other films, now with the new composer it just seems to me too loud, at first when the movie begins I thought I stepped in to watch a special screening of Batman...*frown*

I dont like the new dumbledork! He doesnt have the love in his eyes that Richard does. he is very agressive and to be dumbledore isnt like that. He is warm and loving. This one is very scary.

I reckon they should look at peter o toole for dumbledore..

Anyways..

I think the film was rushed..They contrated to much on the triwizard thingy and missed out heaps. The maze was always too rushed.

But i was drooling over George weasley..so the film had it high points

I would have loved to seen Bill..

yes they were. Well the 4th movie is great I think totally cool but there are many things missing. The Dursleys, Charlie + Bill, the beginning is completely wrong, the Dark Mark, the arrival (Beauxbatons + Durmstrang) and so on but it's still a very very very good movie my respect for dan, rupert, emma and all the others!!! And to be honest Bill and Charlie weren't not so important to me, not in the book and not in the movie!

yah I would have expected the Dark Mark to look alil more frightening

I am, but I imagine they had to make lots of really difficult decisions about cutting, I mean, the movie was 2.5 hours long, they couldn't very well fit in any more plot lines.

well, imagine the 5th book, it's the biggest book yet, and everything in that book is important and I wonder how long the movie will be?

People said, "everything is important" about the fourth book before the movie came out and they did an excellent job with the cutting/editing in the movie.

They'll sort it out. 😉

they did, if you didn't read the book though, and you just read the movie, you wouldn't know why Neville was crying at the beginning

I have to admit that i liked the book a lot more but i LOVED the movie.

I was NOT happy though that they COMPLETELY cut the Dursleys and the whole fireplace exploding thing. And i was soo disappointed that they cut ALL of the Quidditch World Cup. And they cut Dobby and Winky!

me too

Book by a fair amount. I'm adamant to sticking to the plot.

i will always love more the books than the movies!!! but the movies are good though

movies are there just to remind you what happens in the book. like i forgot everything about Gof (apart from voldie and tri wiz) and i saw the movie and things came back to me

I liked the movie, I really don't read the books I just hear what happens in them.

Book. The movie was ok but to rushed.

Book

in number six..we see fleur is with bil? how will they fit that into the movie if we never seen them flirt in number 4..?

Plus they missed out poor winky!

Best movie, but I was disappointed that they cut too much stuff out and didn't explain stuff for people who hadn't read the book.

I agree, Murray, I would have gladly sat through it for even four hours if they left everything in.
