I'm indifferent to them. I like them when they are on, but I'd never intentionally listen to them. They are a bit wet for my liking.

i think it will be hard to do something fresh for the next album given that the lack of guitar will probably limit their scope somewhat

the only thing i can see being different is that they will use their new found stature (whether you agree with it or not...they have gotten big in the last year)....to probably have a live orchestra play on there next album...relying on the big sounds and the serene vocals to try and change things up

i cant help but get the feeling that if they dont do something soon then the fickle press and public will soon forget about them (i know a lot of people on KMC will think thats a good thing)

time will tell

personally i liked hopes and fears...the lack of guitar was liberating from the usual stuff....but i think its that same lack of guitar that will be their downfall

in short...i think it'll be a case of "here comes new keane...same as the old keane"
