When have you ever seen an animated show mock American Idol?
Don't let re-runs ruin your perception of a vastly superior show....Also look at the time of the evening that it's aired.
At 8PM you can't get away with nearly as much crap as South Park or Family Guy gets away with, just because they are both aired later in the evening.

Hey man "The Simpsions already did it"......of course they did everything....They probably said every word in the english language in every possible construction.
But what Family Guy or South Park does is just deeper...it crosses more lines...simpsons is just funny on the surface...and way to harmless for a social critic.

....there are more but I don't know the british names since I can usually just watch it in German and we don'tr see a lot of them round here 🙁 but they are still my favorite
