Comp Problems

Heh, my computer just recently decided that it won't even start up...thankfully we're getting a new one soon, but I need to figure someway to get it working long enough to back up my stuff because I have about a gig of files on my computer, between music and webdesign stuff 😖

take out the HD, and get a computer that has a spare slot and place it back there, than you don't lose anything at al

I think what you may be experiencing is the worm blaster virus.

I would recommend doing the scan first to see if it can identify the virus.

isn't there a stinger out that can scan solely that virus?

just a quick update if any of you were wondering.
Well I bit the bullet and popped in the old quick restore dis, and wiped my HD.
But it still didn't work so now my comp is stuck in DOS mode, but My uncle is sending me stuff to fix it so my come should be up and running by the end of this week, but as of right now im usin the family's, older than god, i-mac.
Man I miss my comp!
