Charity bands

the legitimate ones anyways 😕 what kind of bands are you buying? 😛

there's some Nike ones here for racism...

well the ones I have are legit 😛

most in England are legit... I believe 😄

i have a red 1 for the british heart foundation and i wear it for my dad! he passed away in january and tahts why i donated money beacsue he died of an enlarged heart? but i do agree with u theses things are not a fashion accessory and people shouldnt just buy them for the sake of trying to look fashionable! 1 or 2 doesnt look bad but all the way up ur arm does not mean that uc are more than others do about charitys. believe me they rnt fashion accessories!

The blue for bullying as i was bullyed for ages when at skewl....

I have a blue one, but it says 'Live Long - Be Strong'. I wear it all the time 😬

I have a blue bullying one from radio one

I will admit that the fashion side of it is more than frustrating, but for those who pay money towards any charity, well they deserve to be commended, not ignored in the face of blatant commercialism. I'm still looking for one from Amnesty International, I have the button and I donate monthly.

I donate directly.

To Amnesty?

Amnesty, Broederlijk Delen, 11.11.11., beggars and projects from people I know and trust.

I had a white one saying 'Make Poverty History' but I sold it today to someone at school, I REALLY WANTED HIS BLACK ONE BUT HE WANTED IT! 😠

That's really cool ✅

Is 11.11.11 anything to do with the Armistice?

i dont wear one....well cancer ones when its time but i dont have one for all the time.....im not one to follow suit

When it's time? That sounds so bad, do you think the actual cancer victims get the choice when to have the cancer? If you're showing support, you really shouldn't only wear the band when someone else decides it's the right time 😬 And stuff the fashion thing, that came about because of the genuine charity bands, not the other way around. I'm not going to stop wearing my real bands just because some insignificant ass is making money through the fashion productions.

I have a LiveStrong one.

I have the Livestrong yellow one, well several actually because when you get them through the Lance Armstrong foundation you can only get them in 10's so I got 10 adult and 10 youth for my kids (seemed a fair swop at the time). I also have an anti-racism one and some pink breast cancer ones - again bought in packs of 10.
