Human Torch V's Wonderman

Wonderman can take a lot of heat but does have an upper limit..... can he take out the Torch before Johnny risks killing an Avenger by going over that limit?

how fast is the Torch?

Ummm... Speed of sound I think? maybe faster. Wonderman's description of his flight speed is escape velocity. Whatever the hell that means.

i know WM can go at least MACH 3....... but johnny is very maneuverable........ WM can take him out if he can get to him but will he be able to before Torch gets pissed off and turns the heat WAY up?

i think this battle comes down more to aerial agility than physical power

Escape Velocity means that WM can exit from the Earth atmosphere in few minutes.The Torch is outmatched in almost everything, and if WM use his energy projection, Torch is doomed.Plus WM is faster, tough, and Johnny's strenght is human, not even enhanced human.While WM is Class 100.
