SPOILER: Anakin's limbs

Started by peluffo6 pages

I thing that he atracts objects through the force and take it with their hand (right or left). Is not his hand who controls the force, but his mind

BTW, in ESB Han fires and Vader STOPS THE BLASTS with their mechanical hand!!! 😮 😮 and then summon the force to take the weapon from han's hand (tricky phrase! i've mistaked 3 times!!!)and make it fly to their right hand.

That doesn't make any sense when using the Force to PUSH though, does it?

I remember a lot of argument about whether that's the Force or his armour stopping he blast... it's a very dull argument, though.

Quite.

it doesnt matter if vader uses his right arm or left coz by the time episode IV he is as obiwan said "more machine than a man"...remember the lava pit theory????
he falls to a lava pit and he is believed to be dead. obi wan leaves and grabs anakin´s sword (the later-to-be anh sabre for luke from his father). the emperor manages to "save" anakin and reconstruct him with machinery. anakin already turned by the darkside and now more machine than a man becomes darth vader.

one question:
in episode III is anakin supposed to be already a sith when he fights obi wan and falls to the lava pit...or is he only a fallen jedi who after being rescued by sidious turns completly to the darkside?

hmm you take a lot for granted gospel here fernando

Indeed. No-one has ANY good idea about those events.

He deflects the bolts with the Force. You will see other Jedi do this in AOTC.

Certainly a neat way to solve THAT argument... phew!

ok i know...thats the reason i said "theory".
but anyway, by the time vader uses cape and helmet he is like 80
% machine so it doesn´t matter if he uses his aotc wounded arm.

...and he can use any limb he likes, coz what he REALLY uses is the force.

He still has to wield his sabre with his arms, like anyone else.

is that true?
if he uses the force when he fights he then kinda follows what the force "tells" him to do also, he follows his "force-instincts". so relatively , from a certain point of view, the force is moving his [mechanical or not] arms.
if he hadn´t arms he could still wield a lightsabre with the force. couldn´t he?

the force is his aid

The Force doesn't move his limbs.

Indeed. The force MAYBE can suggest instinctively what moves to do, but I firmly believe that the force is a MIND matter, "think, then I do exist" stuff or whatever it spells on english)

This one can be a very long discussion. I quit. 🙂

If Jedi could wield sabres with the Force with the same capability as with their arms, they would do it all the time.

You have to remember that 90% of the time the Force is a very subtle thing.

The Force is strong, but not strong enough to have two floating sabers in the middle of a battle arena. Then it'd be a creepy version of Pokemon.

it would be cool though.

ok ok. i believe in all those arguments.
i think finti is right the force is for aid not as a whole, an ally like yoda would say, and it doesn´t show itself like that in the other hand it is very subtle like ush said.

but i believe a better argument against "floating sabres" is that if jedis or sith could wield sabres without holding them they would do it a lot. and they dont. so thats probably the best proof that i went to far thinking about the force´s strength, presence and use.
just wanted to know what yall thought

No Blood!

NO BLOOD!!! Sorry Guys, I'm new on your thread.

Well of course not, I guess, because of the heat of the saber would cauterize.

I like the pics especially the action one with Dooku doing the slicing! 😮

So he looses his arm before the "lava" roast. 😮

Any more nice pics?

What lave roast? I really hope you don't think that's going to happen.

Lava stew maybe....
